Just found out its a pro drive back box from a 1999 forester turbo :)

Hi, could I fit a 1999 forester exhaust onto a 2004 forester thanks ian:)

Stereo all fitted looks good will try & work out how to post pics only took about 20 mins as it's only 2 plugs glad I didn't pay to have it fitted didn't fit flush at first then I realised that there's different holes on the bracket changed them now fits perfect:)

Any 1 know where to get a bulb for the heater control for a 2004 forester spoke to main dealer they want £38 for 3 bulbs i only need 1 thanks ian:)

Stereo sorted:) glad I saved money a fitted myself looks nice will try & post some pics later:)

Will leave the kids indoors while I'm trying I've got a feeling there's going to b some swear words :)

Finally fitted a new stereo into my forester went from single din to double din (alpine) now I've just got to make it sit flush with the dash thought it went in to easily so that's my job for the morning getting it to sit flush :)

Finally found a spoiler for my 2004 forester XT then find out its got to come from northern Ireland (Jap performance world) but a least I no I can get 1 now :) :)

Thanks for reply's i might have a go as i can get the plastic surround of easy enough so i'll have a look at the plugs on the stereo as long as i dont need to cut wires i should b ok that could be famous last words better keep the kids out the way as there might b a few choice words:) :)

Hi, just wondering how hard it is to fit a new stereo into my 2004 forester going for a double din is it just a matter of a couple of plugs plus wiring harness as halfords charge £30 to fit l'd rather do it myself to save money then i've got more to spend on stereo & maybe speakers, any advice appreciated thanks:)

Hi all , I'm changing the stereo in my 2004 forester it's got a standard single din with pocket underneath would I Be able to fit a double din or stick to single thanks Ian:)

Hi I've only got 1 key for my 54 plate forester the person I brought it of thinks the other 1 is at his holiday home so he'll look for it, I phoned the main dealer to get a price of £395 once I'd picked myself off the floor I said thanks & put the phone down:)

Car wash, then decided I'm going to change the badge on the front grill so i'm now looking for 1 :)

Looks good , I bet there were some swear words along the way , I've seen a picture of this done on a forester the same as mine that looked nice I was thinking of doing mine but wouldn't have the patients :)

Welcome, I'm from high Wycombe too brought our black forester 2.0xt just b4 Xmas & love it also thanks to jonny b for letting us out at asda on Sunday ( nice car & num/plate) :)

Thanks for reply's, will start looking for a back box & maybe centre pipe ( prodrive) as the wife doesn't want it to loud as she drives it most of the time & these sound ok from what I've heard but open to suggestions as I've said b4 I've got a friend who can make the adjustments to Make an impreza 1 fit thanks again Ian:)

Hi all, another question about the exhaust on my forester 2.0xt 2004 would just changing the back box bring out the burble, looking for 1 at the moment (i like the prodrive) also not doing it 4 performance, thanks Ian:)

Hi, thanks fo reply about exhaust, I've spoken to a few people about custom made but that's out off my price range at the moment, I'm thinking of getting an impreza sti exhaust & making it fit as as cant find a forester sti exhaust anywhere also I know a really good wielder & he's into his subaru's :) he's got a prodrive exhaust but it was off his 99 impeza so not sure if it's going to fit so I'm keeping an eye out for an sti exhaust for my 2004 forester wheres best to look thanks for the help Ian:)

Hi, I would like to fit a rear spoiler to my 54 plate forester 2.0 xt seen 1 for sale on a forester stb breaking 1997-2002 does anybody know if this'll fit or where I could find 1 to fit thanks Ian:)
