  1. Good racing last night, apart from the Le Mans where I didn't finish a single lap and ended up on my roof and Gambit next lap parked next to me, also on roof, but we'll say no more about that. I'm ok with doing anyone a car design if they want one. I specialise in race car designs though. I wasn't happy with the tuning on my car so going to sort that out for next races do watch out, I need some practice too with racing without ABS as I kept locking up which was my undoing. I'll get it all sorted so watch out! If anyone does want a design send me a message on here with a link to sort if design you like if a real car exists, add any other details and tell me your gamertag so I can gift it when done. Off to get done Laps in later, can't keep coming 2nd to Gambit
  2. Haven't managed to get on this weekend so not been able to send anyone anything I suggested I might, sorry about that. Are we still on for races tonight, if so what time and I'll make sure I'm hooked up ready. Not sure if mic is working so I might just have to listen, worked the other day but its on its last legs and I'm not buying another as I'll probably get an XBOXONE or PS5 soon, not sure yet, waiting for fallout to settle and see which seems to be the best
  3. I can send you a tune if you let me know what car you want to run, you'll just need to tweak to suit driving style I tend to do high grip tunes for cornering and acceleration
  4. Ok, I should be ok for Sunday for 3 races. I just finishing up my SOC car design, car's all tuned up and ready to go even though its legacy B4 @Gambit I've done the SOC logo so will gift that over to you this weekend and you can send it around the others for their use.
  5. Can I have heads up on tracks too
  6. Next week I can do easier
  7. are jet engines allowed? give me the edge down the straights
  8. I only use in car view, usually use ABS, but its more laziness, I can drive either. Tuning to A class 600 allowed then? Can't guarantee I'll be on to race but if about I'll join you for a bit. I'll have to do a paint job now :D
  9. I get that a lot. If I'm at the front and in the clear with empty track ahead I'm ok, if I got cars all around me not so Probably fair to say I'm better at qualifying than racing But I might be on tomorrow in which case I might join you, if i'm on when you are message me and I'll join you, what are the conditions (car etc i'll see if I can get set up).
  10. Or maybe, and I'm going to go out on a limb here. You're just not quick enough?
  11. I want some snow!!!! I wanna do this :o
  12. forgot to ask because its not clear in the photo, is that the black or cherry pearl colour on your XV?
  13. welcome to the XV club, you've had yours a bit longer than mine, I'm not sure the bonnet trim would look right on a dark coloured one, my wife has the dark metallic grey, which is a gorgeous colour as its really metallic and sparkly, also makes the car look a lot more butch than the light colour which tends to look more sporty. its amazing that when mine and my wife's are parked next to each other and they don't look like the same car. I must admit though that my wife is thinking that next time she changes she might go for a forester instead, so looks like we're with Subaru for a bit now. I'm still running mine in at the minute so the engine & transmission is still a bit tight, but its still turning 69mpg on the M6 over about 80 miles which is pretty impressive for a permanent 4 wheel drive weighing 1.4t What I did buy though which we have for both cars is the rear bumper trim that protects the top face of the bumper behind the boot, its about 90 quid but that will get really scratched in no time, especially if you have a dog! @Gambit - to be honest I'd suggest that the white one is a bit understated for you, I think you'd be more of the colour below (though I've been advised they devalue quicker)

I bet you're wondering if you should have bought a forester, or judging by the depth of the water, maybe Bigfoot
  15. Not sure if this helps but the XV I have uses Yokohama All year tyres, that is they are summer and winter, so you have the dry/wet road tyre but in winter it also has heavy tread for winter. Not suggesting you use the same as they're £170 a boot. but there might be something similar for non-off road cars such as yours. As for whether you need winter tyres in this country, I'd say no, they wear very quickly compared to ordinary tyres, provide you with much less grip in on tarmac especially wet tarmac and you'll only really need them for a few days a year in reality. If you lived in Sweden then I'd say yes (in fact its mandatory) but if you from the midlands or similar probably not, plus you need somewhere to store them.
  16. I'm not sure I could beat a Le Mans in transit, be fun trying though
  17. Dammit, am I that transparent :D not that good in a crowd so I have to do hot laps ;) I merely set a target for you all to achieve i'm good with only having clean laps, perhaps try something other than the 22b, have a change?
  18. Might be worth allowing some driving aids to imp price chances, plus I'd accept dirty laps too
  19. sorry but I felt I had an extra second left in my lap so I've had another bash this morning, managed to turn out a 1:22.081 clean lap, still can't quite break that 1:22 barrier but I know its possible because I did a 1:21.4 with a dirty lap and only put a wheel out on the last corner. I just felt you were a bit close behind at only .2 out.
  20. Good luck, be nice if you could best me as I like a challenge
  21. I used to do the odd flat sprint circuits, had a very modded Opel Manta GTE Coupe. Would pull 0-60 in 6 secs which for the mid 80's was going some. I'll have a look at a full car design for the logo, any preference on what car it is to go on
  22. sounds like the battle has commenced ;)
  23. If you send me some images I'm sure I could work something out next week. Also do you know where you can buy official Paul Walker graphics, I assume the official ones support his charity. I don't race any more but used to be in the race Pro-mod race scene way back when.
