  1. Make sure that they know it's a import ,bud . Cos on the classics imports have black tint and uk versions have green tint [emoji6] If it's not broke .....upgrade it [emoji4] Have done mate cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Replacement screen booked for tomorrow [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks jdm I do have cover but it hasn't happened while I've had the car. There's a 5cm crack on drivers side and other chips elsewhere so it really has to go. Thanks for trying to help though; appreciate it [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No mate, it's not damage I can say has been caused since I picked the car up, despite the dealer spiel. Has a few other chips in it too so needs sorting really for safety. Not worth the risk; just want it fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. How bad are windscreen replacement companies too....have called 3 this morning and only 1 has got back to me. £240 plus vat for new front screen. Needs it and can be done tomorrow so unless the others beat that in next couple hours, I'll be getting this done. There goes my winter wheels fund for now lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, it's been a long term dream to own a turbo and feel privileged to have found such a rare low mileage auto import wrx. I'm in it for the long term and like my cars to be right, so anything and everything will get done in time. It's already totally changed how I view driving, and I thought I enjoyed it in my outback! 7. My thoughts exactly. Not overly impressed with this to be honest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Dealer is in denial about windscreen; my own fault really. Has also said the knocking is 'normal' for imprezas at rear due to actual shocks used [emoji53] Has offered to look at my sticky brakes but said these would have been checked too before sale. All in all I'm minded just to book in to a local Indy specialist and have them give it a once over. After sales, I would suggest, offers room for improvement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Looks good to me [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for the advice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. She did say just before we got home, "has this car got suspension?" Bless her [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Pressure washer, lance, snow foam.... [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'll report in on my first wrx auto brim to brim later this week. Expecting more than I'll get normally due to 135 mile motorway journey back home from picking it up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. She's happy for me mate [emoji23] In all seriousness we've done 2 X 45 mile journeys and she said it's a lovely car and doesn't think it would be the same if I changed the exhaust. Done 225 miles now and fuel gauge still showing 1/3 tank left. I think I have sticky brake syndrome and a knocking I haven't managed to locate yet. Hoping it's just the wooden spare wheel well cover and going to do school run without it in tomorrow to see. Speaking with the dealer tomorrow about cracked windscreen anyway so will mention these things too. Both neighbours have spoken to the Mrs and I about the car already...both chaps in late 20s / early 30s...still strange having a car that turns heads [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks both [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. You'd do that rather than wait until next change? Literally just been serviced before bought it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Because of the the lovely view or have you just ran out of milk (again) [emoji12] If it's not broke .....upgrade it [emoji4] Yes! [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. When you look out the window and just know it's going to be a good day..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Is that better for the engine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. When I picked the car up today I asked what oil they'd put in as part of the service. Was told 10/40 semi synthetic. Is that what you Impreza guys run? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Home now with new motor; lovely machine. A good 2 hour drive back and noticed a couple of things. A 2 inch crack in the windscreen on drivers side about a third of the way up. Not gone through to externally yet but can only be a matter of time. Have rang dealer and left message as he's away this weekend. Other thing is potential clunking and fouling around offside rear quarter wheel. Not sure it's not just something in the boot yet, so need to drive more. Felt a bit strange pulling away from roundabout after I got home. All told though an absolute joy and stupid smile firmly fixed on face. Doesn't seem any worse on fuel than my outback and the 235 for annual tax feels great [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The best colour, in my opinion...love the swooping dash, from what I remember. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
