  2. ended up staying with my current insurer Admiral - as cheap as any when I took the cancellation fee into account - decent result in the end; was worried they'd be sky high when they didn't have my car reg in their systems All sorted now though - just the 39 hours to go now......
  3. MOVED TO TRIBECA SECTION FOR BETTER CHANCE OF REPLY Have you seen that programme on E4; Angie Tribeca? I'd take her for a ride [emoji16] Welcome and sorry, not sure about your dvd issue. We don't have many Tribeca owners on here but hopefully one of them may pop up to help [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I agree mate - bin em off Picking my new baby up Saturday - confirmed
  5. pm sent but nothing as yet - very frustrating and not good customer service (I would suggest), especially when linked specifically to the club
  6. my 55-plate 3.0r petrol auto outback - it's being traded in this weekend in Yorkshire, so probably a bit soon for you. 81k full history
  7. Just dared to get my first insurance quote on the auto WRX (not from my current insurer I may add) - £650 incl protected NCB - how does that compare with what you guys have? - I have 17yrs NCB with only a single vehicle accident by SWMBO on my policy in the last 5 years. EDIT Quote 1 £650 Quote 2 £580 Quote 3 - has to get back to me as haven't come across some of the modifications before - really, they are only standard cosmetic? £955 joke Quote 4 - Adrian flux - on hold too long before I got to speak with anybody, so rang off
  8. Where are you based? I'm about to trade mine in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Can't decide between blue or black mudflaps for the new steed....will be my first addition [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Bummer...y-pipe finally gone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If your budget stretches to it, how about a 3.0l petrol auto....pretty much bullet proof if serviced regularly and plenty of grin factor. Chain driven too, so no cam belt change to worry about. A 55 plate will fall into the lower tax band too. Owned my outback for nearly 2 years now and loved every minute Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes mate 17x7 and 48 offset. Will send you a pm and pics later as would only want what I paid and could drop off for you en route to collecting new car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Chopped it in Tom mate; can't wait to join the turbo ranks [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks mate, yes they do seem to bring good money. We'll see how she feels once she's had a drive [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Contemplating offloading my spare set of for winter Foz alloys now...even though they'll fit i'm undecided if I want to run a different offset to OEM
  15. worth me buying a 'bung' in the short term? Does anybody have one fitted to their blitz nur spec?
  16. Wish I could, but away on holiday
  17. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yes, it was one of the first things I looked at and thought hmmm, I'm sure I've seen@gambit say it was loud on here. Still not to worry; if it becomes a bone of contention I'll just change it down the line. Was well worth the 5 hours travel in the end...still can't quite believe it yet mate [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ok, so I've barely managed to keep quiet for a day, but it can't last....... ....today I've removed my personal plates from my outback as this will be landing on my drive in the next week or two... It's a rare beast - a 54-plate 2.0 WRX Auto Tiptronic - Imported when new in 2004 with 35, yes thirty five kms on the clock - conversion done straight away so clock reading mph & odo reading miles - cert with car to confirm. 2 previous owners, loads of history and only 58k under her belt. Pretty standard and by the looks of things unabused and in very good condition; only mods look to be the cat back SS exhaust, K+N cone filter and STi spoiler. Cambelt being changed before collection (also done before at 30k), service done and 12 months MOT - the MOT history online is good (only ever been consumables). Can hardly contain myself - over to the dark side Told SWMBO it's loud @stants.....she grimaced but has already said she'll get over it - I said she should have come to see it haha - bless her, she's a gem really
  20. Today I've been on the road for 5 hours, either side of meeting up with Adam
