  1. Facelift came on the 05 plate, but I've seen pre facelift cars registered as late as 56 plate....guess it took them 18 months to clear the old stock, so can imagine some bargains could have been had at that time [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. A late 2005 outback 3.0 auto will return 27mpg real world on high octane fuel and will come with the power, luxury feel, ride height and practicality you desire....not to mention the fun factor when you open her up and leave people wondering what the hell you are running in your normal looking estate car haha Lower tax band too if registered pre 23 March 06 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Much to my dismay, it was indeed blown. Lens cracked and casing loose. Good job I bought some spares the other week. Hopefully just a dud that I was unlucky enough to get. All sorted again now though and ready to dazzle all afore me later [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The other sidelight wasn't working this morning...another tinker required with these led bulbs I'm thinking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Me too....bbq etc sounds good to me. Once we get 10 signed up [emoji54] perhaps we can organise something between us all to share the costs? [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Top banana [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Did you beat that green thing? [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It's already in my phone to remind me [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ain't no man bending my pipe [emoji33] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Better fuel economy too?....win win [emoji41][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm hoping some of our impreza and foz modding experts can help us out here. I saw Majik mention this recently, so thought I'd start a thread to gather some ideas together. Essentially I'd like to know if the 3.0l petrol auto outback would be a good candidate for mapping and what, in % terms, would be considered a realistic and worthwhile increase in ponies? ( I think they are 245 out of the box) Oh, potential costs too please [emoji106] Let the debate begin..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I know mate, !Removed! ridiculous. I just can't stomach the £90 for the official piece of plastic right now, so a nice looking £15 problem solver might just have to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Rear Bumper Protector - Carbon-Style-Foil - SILVER - fit SUBARU OUTBACK 3 (BL,BP) - as from 2003-2009 by Snudertech http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NMEB61I/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_Nx8oub1WV8Q67 Found this today....quite tempted [emoji41] I've asked if they do black too, but the silver may look quite good anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. We are rare breeds at these events, it seems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Saw my first new wrx sti on the roads today....passed him near gosforth park junction of a1 going in oppo direction. Looks good in white....think his wife saw me staring at it haha so some kudos for him [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Pictures pictures pictures!!!??? [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. True....was just thinking of a way to offset the diesel premium while still getting cheaper running costs. A 3.0l petrol model plus lpg convo may still come in cheaper than a similarly aged diesel model Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. They both look great cars Tom; the estate especially, looks fab in that gun metal colour [emoji41] Have you run any quotes through the comparison sites....you may be pleasantly surprised. If still too much, try a non spec b 3.0l On the power loss, I've not heard any stories about this....I know you lose about 20% mpg per litre on lpg, but this is more than offset by lpg being roughly half the price of unleaded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. What age are you looking for Tom? You could always stick with the petrol models, as you'd need to run a diesel for many years and miles to make the extra initial outlay worthwhile. Plus no DPF or boxer diesel worries. Have you thought about a 3 litre legacy or outback, then converting to lpg? You may get the best of both worlds then...lower running costs plus the petrol engines proven reliability [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. It does have its downsides, but you only live once [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I strangely find this happens on a daily basis lately
  22. Oh aye stants...they are blingin' mate [emoji41] Ordered myself a spare set today when I thought one of mine may have an issue...turned out to be nothing more than human incompetence so will have some spares gathering dust in the garage soon [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. If it's like the outback mate, you can get your hands in ok. Drivers side, just remove air intake then the cap covering the dipped light bulb and you should be able to get past to the side bulb holder Passenger side, just unclip and move the flexible screen wash tube, remove cap covering dipped light again and you'll have access to the side light again. These led ones at £4 a pair are fantastic....get some; you won't be disappointed. There's a whole thread on them in our outback section [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
