  1. the only reason i took them off was a car pulled out in front of me and damaged the headlight and bumper, i had to take them off for the respray. a week after the respray I wrote the car off :( i have considered these graphics too (black and pink)
  2. there isn't a haynes manual for the impreza :(
  3. I had the full monster (forza replica) graphics on my last blob, i still like the look of them, but they ruined the paintwork. they were on for 2 years and when i took them off you could still see where they had been, even tried professional products, but couldn't get rid of the shadows
  4. i changed the head unit first, so i haven't heard the std head unit with uprated speakers i think it will be a better sound upgrading the head unit first. great speakers will only sound as good as the head unit can produce,
  5. gampla, an average car does 10k a year, do you think anyone would buy a subaru if you had to pay £100's every 6 months for a diff rebuild? (honest question) i haven't seen oil change recommendations as low as 3,750 miles before, usually 6k miles or 6 months on the classics and 10k miles or 12 months on the new age good idea to have a full service done (by a garage that you trust), when you have the cam belt done make sure they change the pulley's too
  6. is this a **** take? diff rebuild every 5,000 miles????? don't think anyone would buy a subaru if you needed to pay for a diff rebuilding twice a year
  7. I'd go for the power mod's first, worth it just for the sound
  8. it's a difficult choice, gloss white or cadbury purple
  9. Ash, in the blobeye, the rear speakers are in the back doors i have fitted 6.5" coax speakers in the front doors (just need an adaptor ring, std speakers are 5") and they made a decent improvement. also get some sound deadening to put on the inside of the door behind the speaker. i used to have a pair of 15" subs running 'infinate baffle' (no box needed) and didn't take up much boot space. have a look at the under seat subs, they offer a decent punch and help blend into the musical sound stage
  10. i got a great video of a woman having a dump on the hard shoulder of the M25, it was that OMG i made a thread for it (I'll put the link here too so all the dashcam vids stay together)
  11. I've never had a wagon, so i can only state other opinions. '555wagon' says his handled well and then he fitted uprated 'whiteline' goodies (PM him for more details) and it was transformed into a different beast if you want a wagon, get one. improvements can be made to get it to handle how you want
  12. It was a good turn out, especially with the crappy weather Cheers Martin
  13. Hi mate Welcome to the club Car looks great, love it!
  14. hi mate welcome to the club :)
  15. Also when being ultrasonic cleaned, most places check the flow rate of them too, to make sure that they are within acceptable tolerances.
  16. hi mate welcome to the club
  17. haven't taken any yet :( it's loads shinier than it was, but when it's polished it just makes all the parking dent's (previous owner) more obvious :( I saw pix of the water sprayer while it was still fitted to the last car, it just looked like a small container (like the washer bottle) that sit's in the little gap. when It was delivered OMG I can't believe how big it is. had to takes the strut brace, intercooler and a few other bits off and it was still a wrestle to get it in the gap. it's well designed to fit around all the air con pipes and other bits, still can't believe it fitted in
  18. last week I fitted an intercooler water spray and did the throttle body coolant bypass mod today I've done a clay bar, super resin polish and carnuba wax. looks loads shinier :)
  19. I should be there, I'm working in Nottingham, so hope the traffic is ok on my way home (unlike tonight, M1 shut)

  24. not been on much recently, been mad busy at work. I've got a new phone (S5) and I've been using the autoguard app. I've had a few near misses, but most of them I didn't have the dash cam on (an hour and a half drive each way to nottingham kills the battery) it was a mad 2 minutes on the M1 on monday, 3 near misses with lorries cutting me up, 50 seconds, 2 minutes and 2 mins 30
