  1. hi mate welcome to the club sorry to hear you are having problems with the car, people usually want a subaru for a few years and then when you get one and this happens, it turns excitement into resentment :( there is NO WAY that a scoop with all the standard fixings in place will come off, if someone had tried to pull it off, the alloy bonnet would certainly be deformed/damaged
  2. i wouldn't fit that without a map the turbo will give more air to flow and the exhaust will flow more air too, but no extra fuel. gonna be dangerously lean IMO
  3. nope it's a shame the integrale was only LHD :(
  4. that looks loads better :D
  5. have you put the same picture on twice? what's changed?
  6. it will be on the vin plate, the code for obsidian black is 32J (I love massive tit's) mica black is 08v have a look here http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/SubaruPaintCodes
  7. Can't believe I forgot about Peugeot! The 205 and 405 T16's were great cars.
  8. it's not a patch on what it used to be :( when i started watching it there were Audi's and then cossie's and then the scoobies and evo's 1.6 turbo??? my lawn mower has a bigger engine. but if they put those engines in buggy's or off road cart's that might be worth watching
  9. if you can't link the pic's, is it because the screen locks up? try a different browser, it won't link for me on IE but firefox is fine
  10. hi steve welcome to the club OB looks good, and what a bargain, a lot of car for the cash
  11. it would look a bit funny if it was flat on the top
  12. great pix phil, if I could have any car from your pix it would be the metro 6R4 or Aston Martin :)
  13. is it a turbo 2000 like it says at the top, or a wrx sti like it says lower down? FSH? the ad is poor, but give him a ring and see if he's a chav or knows what he's talking about
  14. Starts every time regardless if its cold or hot - like most cars then Interior is also perfect, perfect apart from a tear on the steering wheel - so not perfect then The only problem with the car is a slightly sticking brake pad - not the only problem, see above will also come with a £700.00 apexi ECU - fitted or in a box????? if fitted, who mapped it or any RR graphs?
  15. no problem it's good to hear that they are all the same brand :) does it bulge out more than the others?
  16. on a back box or cat back the size won't alter bhp, but should sound better. on a 3" exhaust the holes are normally elongated, so a 3" should bolt straight onto a 2.5"
  17. looks good, it looks like a good fit
  18. are all the tyres the same brand? it might have been run under-inflated, that weakens the sidewall, so the sidewall might bow out instead of being rigid with the same pressure as the other tyres
  19. blob wrx has 10bhp more than the bug. not sure what changed to give the extra though probably just tweeked a few bit's to get more power for the new model
  20. it'll look good once it's done, but you've got a lot of work ahead of you
  21. the bug wrx was 215bhp, the blob was 225bhp
  22. not worth it, even if you do the turbo engine swap, it will still have crap brakes, suspension, ARB's, wheels. just buy a turbo model
  23. There have only been a couple of people with 300bhp from a td04, its usually maxed at 280ish. Don't be too bothered about the max bhp, the td04 is a great little turbo, it spools well low down and gives punchy mid range.
  24. that's not far off at all,
