  5. Still on for tomorrow at 1pm chaps?
  6. Yes i am mate :) The missus is coming too, she's slowly getting into Subaru's. It's got to the point now that she lets me know when shes seen a Subaru.
  7. lol sure mate. Looks like there is a pub there called Fox and Hounds. Might be a good spot to park up briefly. Oohh wonder if they do breakfasts? ;)
  8. eeewww what is with those horrible wheels and that got awful plastic trim...
  9. I'll be coming from the North ;), so along South on the A19, onto the A174 then across onto the A171. I'm happy to meet you guys at some point along the A171? Or i can meet you at the meet point?
  10. hi mate, welcome to the club. You should have a look over at the car show section, be sweet if you could bring that svx along!
  11. What about the park and ride?
  12. Have you checked out cleanyourcar.co.uk ?
  13. Hi welcome to the forum, I cant offer any advice about the sensor. But i'd suggest going to Sheffield Subaru Service for any mechanical work that is required. I've heard that Scoobyclinic is a tad expensive and apparently you have to sign a disclosure that states any jobs they find on your car (whilst they have it) they will fix them and charge you for them. Also, we've got a small meet on Saturday in the N/E that you are welcome to come to. :) - http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/12370-the-first-ne-regional-meet/
  14. We should scrap the BBC. Most of it is !Removed! !Removed! anyways...
  15. good man :) Where in Whitby are we planning to meet?
  16. we still on for Sunday in Whitby then guys? the missus wants to come lol.
  17. tom_gr7 Silver Subaru Legacy 2.0R SOC
  18. I use pagid disks and pads all round. No issues so far :) Think they are reasonably priced on ECP.
  19. I just read on fakebook that JC has quit and the show is going to permanently end.
  20. I'm not entirely sure mate, im guessing one of the fozzie guys may be able to help. But as you are in Sheffield I'd give Sheffield Subaru Services a call. Martin n Dave are top blokes n would probably be able to point you in the right direction :)
  21. So slightly off topic, but I was sat inside my legacy cleaning the dash n what not. Then this little baby blue micra parks up next to me, So I glanced to the right and had a nosey. There was a tasty blonde sat in the drivers seat. She looked in her early twenties with curled blonde hair. She got out of the car and ran to a neighbours house and back again, then drove off. **** she was hot. A woman that looked like her gran was in the passengers seat, think she caught me checking her grand daughter out lol.... :D
  22. I presume the kid with the Corsa was driving like a **** and drew attention to himself in the first place.
  23. I wouldn't go for a car with 160k. I got my legacy at 87k. I'm on 101k now. I'd guess at 160k you'd almost certainly need a new Clutch and Dual mass flywheel. - (if its not been done already) A clutch and DMF would cost about £500-800 in the UK. I expect that it may be due a replacement exhaust (again it may have had one), as the Y pipes tend to corrode and rot on legacies, again this would cost about £400-600 in the UK. I'd also think about how often its been serviced and by whom. Also remember to check under the arches for rust, there's a lip on the upper inside of the arch that is prone to collecting !Removed! and rusting. I think you should at least look at the GT if you can find a nice example. Or if you can find a 3ltr legacy or outback.
  24. erm, well i've added the time lol.
  25. I tend to get 33-36mpg, can get around 40 on longer journeys. :) I looked at getting it mapped, but for the high price I didn't really see the point.
