  1. Good that's made my mind up, I have seen these on eBay for under 200 delivered ,with decat up pipe as well ,as I want that angle of the back box to, and to be fair I have mostly only heard good things about these , One toyosport /jap speed exhaust on order lol

Yeah I did read about the earth problem ,on the lines of at high revs it shorts the senser out giving you the cel , my light only came on when I gave it a lot of welly I think the man who owned it before me never went past 4ooo rpm lol ,so I thought myn was an earthing problem I was going to buy a earthing kit if the sensor did not sort it out ,but it still drove fine but I checked all the earths , couldn't see any problems so I just bought the sensor been fine since ,I also read somewere that it's a subaru fault as these sensors were faulty to begin with . Easy fix .
  3. Any specific tuner /mapper out there that is highly recommended . Just been on scooby net and when someone is asking for tuning advice this billet turbo from them is high lye recommended lol lol lol I won't be using them. This is what worries me anything to do mechanically I'm fine with but mapping /electrical I' have not a clue lol what happened to the good old days were you fiddled with the carbs lol

Hi mate why do the bugs seem to be in better nick only just got myn few weeks ago ,I had that cel light and code very common problem I have read , I brought the 24 pound camshaft senser off eBay it's the one near the oil filler easy to get to, and myns all sorted I had a memoscan to erase the cel and code and it has not come back on at all today ....

    It's a 2 litre v6 Mivec with 200 bhp but they Only weigh 1250 kg loverly car ,handles well little but it's a little outclassed by today's standards lol

  8. Plenty of tracks about that have open track days even a old runway would do lol (obviously only if enough interest) rolling road days ? Stage tune up,s from 1 till 10 I know there's lots on internet but there all different some sort of dummies guide Maybe by a tuner/ remapper who knows what we need to do to get the best out of the car . Sometimes if there is to much info it gets confusing Let's say in stages 1 to whatever lol 1 being 250 e.g filter cat back ,remap 2 being 270 etc etc . GROUP BUYS this is a must
  9. Yeah they get 242bhp just with a panel filter and cat back exhaust on the rolling road ,with a remap, And I've read that it's the up pipe from manifolds to turbo that's most restrictive on newage wrx,s because it has a cat in it ( the furry kind lol)
  10. Just an update all sorted got the 24 pound one off eBay installed it an it's all good l,been fine all day no light lol

Ok the car drives fine when I give it proper welly the cell light comes on and stays on but the car still drives fine I have done a lot of research on this and have found out about bigeyes and cel lights lol lol ahhhhhh Well I know it's not the nps sensor that is common because this was changed last year on service records And tere is no codes for misfires I have a code on my memoscan (good bit of kit) Po340 generic camshaft position sensor a-bank 1 circuit malfunction , now is this the sensor under the oil dipstick going into the cam cover on top of the engine ??? This only happens on very high revs I have heard that this can also be down to a bad earth?? I've also read that subaru made a bad batch of these? And are the £24 camshaft sensors on eBay any good for the job sorry so many questions I have erased the code only happens if I give it the beans but drives fine any help would be appreciated ....
  13. Do you guys intend on going to car shows , as a group or have a stand at say japfest etc or jae at wick stead park Or even an annual meet at a track or ace cafe in London that's what the did when I was a member of the ftooc . Or even a monthly article on someone's pride and joy
