Road Fund Licence is what they used to call it, as a con to have us believe it was solely used for the upkeep and infrastructure of the roads. We now have some of the worst in Europe.....mainly thanks to the last shower of corrupt twats in government who spent next to nothing on roads for 13 years. Now we have a bunch that basically couldn`t really give a toss and regard the working classes as a nuisance.

The Javanese ear flute!......mice, moles..... in fact most rodents hate the sound of them, apparently that`s what the Pied Piper of Hamlin use to get the mice out of his garage. :P

Toll roads are brilliant but they can !Removed! right off!!!!!!..........we`ve already paid for them in our extortionate road tax! It`s like going down the pub and buying a pint and then being charged for drinking it!

Even some motorways have really bad pot-holes, the amount of times i`ve seen folk swerve to avoid them at 70 plus MPH is scary! Hows about....to keep this thread going we each post a photo of what we think is our worst pot-holed road? :)

Service cost me £130.00 but I agreed to fit the new pollen filter myself which looks like a bit of a ball-ache!

Dave, that`s on mine as well, and possibly was on my others. It appears to be from not having mudflaps fitted, the spray from the rear wheels has pitted the paintwork, You`ll have to get the mop out to deal with it. I`ve the exact same and I borrowed my mates mop for when my 3 months recoup is over :D Re: the servicing.....I have a very good mate who`s a Merc engineer and he knows these motors very well, he`s serviced and worked on all of mine and is very reasonable. Did the head gaskets on my old 78 OB for £400 when i`d been quoted 2 grand from the local ford (Fraud) dealer. Probably £100 ish......will let you know.
