  1. That`s like mine on the 05 Outback, now i`m not absolutely positive but I think that`s just a change of battery and nothing else. don`t buy it from a dealer, find the battery code........pennies on Ebay
  2. Drove for the 1st time after my op.............despite not driving for almost 2 weeks I had forgotten nothing!! Had stitches out today and i`ve not felt this pain-free in a lot of months :) Originally they said it would be staples and I have to say they did feel like the staples they use in the manufacture of garden furniture. But to my surprise they were sutures. It now looks like I have a Cornish pasty tattoo on my back.
  3. !Removed! hell that`s a nice calm summers day up here!

Any junk mail you get, don`t throw it away, wait until you get one with a SAE enclosed and then send the fecking lot back to them. In fact you could send them a sackful and just tape the envelope to the parcel. This costs man hours and postage, if we all did this the **** would stop over night. Or use the SAE for your own purpose.

Remember when.... if you paid someone by check you were asked to put your name and address on the back? The only reason was so`s the bank who processed it could sell it on to marketing companies.
  6. They both have the same unit so it should be slightly fiddly but very doable Tom.

  13. Its not a tube link, maybe that`s why.
  14. Even Russian bears have good taste! A Hunter's Car Got Completely Wrecked By The Angry Bear He Shot According to the description of this video, a hunter in Russia shot a bear in the !Removed!, which escaped and came back to destroy the man's car. http://www.carthrottle.com/a-hunters-car-got-completely-wrecked-by-the-angry-bear-he-shot/ Try as I might I can`t get the video to show. Its there when I paste it in "Media" but won`t show in the finished post.
  15. Get well soon Jules Bianchi!! Just thought I would post.
  16. Are the bulbs a really snug fit in the holders Dave?......if I remember rightly they are such a good fit they don`t need to be "twisted" into place.
  17. Oh Noooooooo! :o Counting the days when I can get the dogs in the back and take them for a nice healthy run :D
  18. Not really the weather for much around here, and as i`m not quite fit to drive i`m feeling better every day so not too long. I can`t believe its been 10 days since I drove.....never gone so long before, its like being in rehab
  19. My eldest son had two Alfasuds (not at the same time) while he was living in Luxemboug, of course he rang me for advice and I told him "Don`t touch them with a bargepole!"....he would be buying work so be prepared to spend money on them on a weekly basis. Of course he took no notice After the Suds he rang me wanting to know if I knew anything about....wait for it.......Integrales, yes, of the Lancia familio! Obviously you can guess what I told him, Italian electricians and stuff and the bargepole hasn`t been made long enough for these buggers. Obviously he bought it, loved it, crashed it, Bought another one which I drove very fast when we went over to visit.......as mad as a balloon but cracking fun to drive!..........puts that very same smile on your face. :)
  20. Subaru`s are quite thin on that list which says it all really.

  23. It was simply a blatant government subsidy to the international (manufacturers) and national (dealers) car industry. How I wish I could be so !Removed! at my business that the government would bail me out with £1,000 per customer..........the other grand was purportedly to be given by the dealer......Right! It should only have applied to vehicles manufactured inside the UK. Short term fix but long term very very costly.....it did wonders for the economy, trouble is its the German, Japanese and especially the Korean, economy and hardly ours. People were encouraged to buy new cars they could little afford. The service industry jobs in cars, repair, spares and servicing were hit quite badly. If everyone with a car 10 yrs or over took advantage of the scheme it would have cost the taxpayer over £14 billion. The car I drive today will be 10 years old next year and is as good if not exceedingly better than anything built in Korea! Just my rant. :) I suppose it got all those !Removed! old Escorts and Capris of the road though. :P
