  3. well had to take brembos off for now, looks like they need full overhaul as they just wont bleed up,looking like their full of crap,so standard brakes are back on looks crap with new wheels but need be.will get a kit ordered then get them split, may as well put new seals and nipples and stuff in them while their getting done.off to brighton in morning in car so needed some confidence in breaks, see how the car handles the 500mile round trip ,oh well bed time for me early start
  4. Save yeah money mate and just put a nice performance filter in airbox.you wont need to map a cai in.i had one a k&n cai on hatch which broke i changed it to a 20quid cone from halfords and car is no diffrent to the 200+ one.i am goin back to a airbox when i can find one. 7. mine is a hatch but rallyflapsZ are good flaps they are long so you can fit them higher up the arch to give side car better protection

  10. Its nice and smooth mate.could here something rattling with old wheels on but that seams to have gone now [emoji6] brakes am a little dissapointrd at min with them dont feel as good as i expected.dont think they bleeded up right first time.done them again and pedal feels much better but not been out in it yet to see if their better.dirty brown fluid came out off one when i bleed them this time.but their are second hand so see how they go.while its in for oil change and coolant change n mot on thursday am going see if they can change brake fuild and give them a good flush out.but see how they are when i test it later today. 14. Mighty car mods did a test with subaru oem airbox and filter and a oem airbox and performance filter and an induction kit on a rolling road .the induction kit did worsed out the 3 and if i remember right the oem with performance filter in it gave best results but very little diffrence to the oem.but with a aftermarket filter in you can re use it so not having to keep paying out for new filter when it gets dirty.it wont hurt to put a better panel filter in.wouldnt bother with a cone unless you like the look of them.i had a expencive k&n cone on mine which got broke so i bought a 20 quid cone filter from halfords and car drives just as well.am changing back to a oem airbox with a aftermarkt filter you can clean, but a wont be payin for an expensive one. 15. don't do it mate,i had 19s on my first blob wrx it looks like a super truck and rubber like crap when you went anywere near full lock, and if you plan on having anyone who weighs more then a stone in back they rub crap out archs as well,18s are best mate, heres picture off my wrx that had 19s on the picture don't give them justice to how big they look when you see it.that is also on standard suspension so don't expect to lower your car with 19s on
  16. I got some Hel performace brakelines but not fitted yet as I could not figure out how the brake line came off the bracket on the wing end,if you no how it attachs can you tell me as I have no idea
  17. hi @Quinn allways good to see more hatchs on here,as @stants said your best off doing looks and handling on a na as you wont get much more power from it,i have had too 2.0sports na loved both but would cost thousand to get more power from them,i would go with a performance filter a nice exhaust someone like cobras sport will sort you out and make it sound nice,i have tien lowering springs on my hatch, not expencive and lower it about 30mm with out it getting so stiff it shakes your teeth out,any strut brace advertised for a hatch wrx will fit your car.the hatch wrx-s and wrx and rx all have same bodykit on but not sure about a l,have a look at pictures or put a picture of yours on so can have a look to see if its fitted with the same,if it has same bumper trim then this splitter lip will fit straight on https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/exterior-parts/08-10-wrx-cs1-style-front-lip.html just need to tell them you want the wrx splitter and not the sti one.
  18. Ok so got the new tyres on the wheels this weekend and manage to get time to fit the front brembos.turned into a right pain as i dint think to check it any bleed nipples was siezed, turned out rear one on each caliper was solid so had to take caliper back of to sort them.an hour on each later with wd40 and lots waddlin they came loose.think i will order some new nipple for them as they look a bit worse for wear now,but am still happy so far with car so am past my 6months sell time and still going strong [emoji3] [emoji41] Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
