So I thought I would stick up a post of images of my new XV. I must admit I do like the Blue. The only accessories that I have fitted are the Resin tailgate protector and the spare tyre. I also like the resin tailgate protection strip on the back.
  2. Barrhead Glasgow.
  3. lol. The gopro usually comes along with me so if Helicopters are involved I'm sure it will be posted.
  4. I'm sure we will get plenty of the white stuff at the end of this year and the start of next year.
  5. A stunning looking car.

Do you get a full race exhaust and system and mega turbo with that. ;) Sounds good though.

I go the 2.0i Petrol SE in blue. I also purchased the spare wheel with it that takes out a fair bit of boot space, however I'd rather have it in the car. The cargo step resin panel was a no brainer as well with ice axes, crampons and climbing gear going in and out of the car. Apart from that interior mats was all got. I'm looking to add some more to it in the future though. Nice car drives really well and the ride height is good as well. Visibility is far better than the 2012 Honda civic I just traded in. :)
  12. So I go and purchase a Subaru XV to get me out climbing on the hills in winter. I thought this would be the best choice for snow and frost as Subaru have a pedigree when it comes to 4 wheel drive / AWD performance cars. A big smile on my face as i pick up my new car and they go and tell me that I have £250 of vouchers to spend in blacks outdoor clothing. BONUS. Love Subaru already.

I discussed this with my local dealer two days ago when I was picking up my XV. As far as he is aware Subaru ave no intentions of releasing this car in the UK in the near future. So this I assume is just at the concept stage i guess.

Add myself to the growing tally of XV members.
  15. Got it dirty. B) I don't see any XV images in the members gallery, I'll have to do a bit of photo whoring soon. ;)
  16. Yes can be expensive, however in the long run its better to keep the insurance company out of it. Just remember in future blue mean stay clear because they are s**t drivers. I hope it's less expensive than you think. Richie.
  17. Cheers lads, nice avatar image Gambit. Lol. I had a run out with the 2.0i XV and then the Impreza 1.6. TBH the XV won me over. Looking forward to getting out on the hill this winter as the journey will be very interesting in the XV. Bring your new the snow.
  18. Hello folks, newbie here in glasgow saying hi. Picking up my XV tomorrow and it's the first subaru I will have owned. I hope to join you in some more topics in the future and I'm sure I'll be looking for advice in the future. Safe driving.
