I've been told that a decat downpipe could cause overboost and that will make it fuel cut. I would recommend having it mapped as the car could be running rich/lean and doing damage. At 6000rpm you may be pass the maximum boost so it may taper off(using my basic knowledge). As for the noisy reverse, is it whiney, crunchy or tappy? How would you describe it? Also does it come from front or rear? I know my reverse is whiny but that's simply because it's reverse. Like most other cars.

Yeah that was the worse part. I broke the silly clip on the recirc too. Still feels tight and sealed. Didn't have no air leaks on the test run.

Today I have mainly been swearing at the intercooler. Didn't realise they were so difficult to get off (for a first timer). I cleaned the knock sensor and re-sat it to see if that gets rid of my code. Give it another two weeks to see if it comes back. [emoji53]

As I pulled out my road the other week a bug eye put his thumb up at me and coincidently we went the same way. Into the Dartford tunnel (famous for tunnel runs) it was beautiful. Our eyes met at the entrance, I shrugged my shoulders to suggest "we may as well have a blast" he nodded in agreement and away we went. Roaring through the tunnel (he was anyway I didn't have my exhaust at that point) we left the tunnel and went separate ways but not before we had a flash (no gambit, the headlights) and a dab of hazard lights. I've stopped a classic before and ended up just chatting for a good half hour. Just rambling on and I'm sure he had things to do like I did but for that moment it didn't matter. Just a few days ago I was stopped in asda by a Scooby owner flogging the youscoob website. I'm not on Facebook though. I absolutely love the feeling of being in an almost exclusive club feels a bit special. I've never felt so welcomed to a club without even knowing the members and this forum proves that even more so. This new method gives me +7k per car tuned...the offer you put across is very one sided. I offer you a trade of method for all your conditions but against raeburn. I probably won't even get on.
