  1. Should be loads of grip in these cars the only way mine starts to lose traction in second is if I'm booting it off a roundabout with. If it is spinning up in a straight line it would eventually find its grip anyway without having to come off the throttle so I'm with ghost on this one and think it could be clutch unless there is a tyre problem.

check your pressures and tyre condition first and also make sure it's a decent brand tyre as you don't want any old budget crap on these and let us know how you get on

  2. Well as I set of home from night shift this morning I had an evo 10 of all cars following me out of work. He obviously wanted to play as he was right on my back bumper. There's a roundabout on my trip home that goes onto a big hill climb with 2 lanes going uphill which is often used by locals to see what speed you can get at the top. Well it was pretty much neck and neck until above 90 where my car just started to slowly open the gap. He even moved into the second lane early thinking he was gonna beat me :) don't think the outcome would have been as pleasing for me without the remap

  3. Oh I just couldn't remember seeing you in front of me.[emoji57] where did you finish on the league table?

I'm sure I dont need to remind you too much of the Sebring wet lap on the from the demo [emoji42] [emoji42]

I did try to get the Sebring it was close in the end. You should try the Spa rivals in the community monthly in the lotus f1 car. I'm a 10th of a second behind a mate now and just can't beat him with a clean lap
  4. The other thing that will keep it close is to keep the awarded points close perhaps just 1 point for each place up the grid rather than 10, 7, 5 etc just do 10, 9, 8 then a single race loss keeps things really close?

I've got to say I totally disagree with this, if you look at the point system in every motorsport championship the points always make it reward someone more for the win over second then for say getting a 5th instead of a 6th and I think this is the way it should be
  5. Don't know what you've been reading Matt but aan Octavia vrs is 217bhp and around £25k a wrx sti is 295bhp and £29k so I don't think the Wrx Sti is overpriced when you look at all the other cars with similar power the price is around the same or more and the latest sti has sold well despite the engine getting a bit old now. The levorg does seem a bit pricey but it is a real nice car inside. I guess £30k doesn't get you much on the new car market nowadays
