2015 wrx Sti reverse cam install
I have reversing cam on my 2015 UK STi......but via a Pioneer double din head unit. Works very well and good install. To be honest very happy with the whole package as head unit has iPod, DVD, microSD, Nav and ApplePlay, would highly recommend. Only thing I wish it was the model above with DAB. Been hanging around the forum a short while and done a few posts, but just recently got a nearly new July 2014 WR Blue STi. Had a classic 96 Prodrive when I was in my early 20's and now many years later decided it was right time to own one again :-) absolutely loving the car and much more useable than my Honda S2000 and no comment about comparison to the Audi A6 (even though it was new). I'm located just outside Holmfirth so in between NW and Yorkshire/Humb side people, so hoping to get to some meets and shows when I can. Used to be a regional organiser back when I had the Classic with SIDC/Scoobynet, but that's 17 years ago :-) and had more re time then ;-) Thanks all and nice friendly forum. Darren. Winter tyres
Nokian wr a3's and our 4wd and you'll be overtaking snow ploughs :-) joking apart I've run continental and Michelin winters for the past 3 years on both FWD Audi A6 and RWD Honda S2000 and they make a massive difference. Don't need to have snow, once you're below 7 degrees and the summer rubber hardens up the winters remain soft and grip is still good..... Was very useful in the S2000 :-) not got any yet for the STi but very likely to, as per Tom's findings. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Octane boosters
I've seen NF Octane Booster recommend on a few Subaru forums but have always used Miller Oils version. Can't comment on how well it works but my old 96 classic ran smoother with it than without, not tried it yet on the 14 STi. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Resonance / Humming @ 65mph
I would also check your tyre wear, I've had some similar noises when I first got my last car and the tyres were feathered (uneven wear on the tread blocks). It went away when I replaced the tyres, funnily enough it was only on the front tyres. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
