  1. Cheers stants, you done any track days on them? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Any feedback would be really appreciated [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah looking forward to hearing people's comments. I was quite impressed by the reviews/feedback on other forums for the EBC Bluestuff NDX, so they are top at the moment with PF Z second and Ferodo 3rd just down to the noise problems a lot of people report, and initial cold braking. 4. Thanks Geoff, I had the DS2500 in my S2000 as daily pads and never had a problem with them, just not 100% sure they are right for the STi with the increased weight and other differences. BTW I would be changing pads all round to the new compound. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I need to replace my brake pads as they are getting near end of life ;-) I'm also planning on doing a couple of track days this year and have a performance driving course booked for middle of May. What I'd like to do is get some pads which are good enough for everyday fast road and also the odd track day. I'm also a little heavy on brakes from past couple of track days I've done, so a little unsure what might be best. I've narrowed down to 3 possible options, Ferodo DS2500, Performance Friction Z pads or EBC Bluestuff NDX (not the regular blue stuff compound). Car is a 2014 (new shape) STi with standard tune/Brembo brake setup. On a side note any other potential upgrades to consider, specifically on the safety/reliability side. No interest in performance at the moment until my driving skills match the cars :-) Thanks all Darren. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. If you end up getting an ODB adapted, the Bluetooth ones don't work with iPhones you will need a WiFi version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nice reminds me of my first 96 Prodrive Classic I had approx 18 years ago [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Excellent start, welcome.... Just stay away from any passenger rides in a turbo [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Opie are great to deal with, good prices and quick delivery and I rate the Miller products for both engine, diff and gearbox. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Tarmac Sportz , really good to deal with, good price and one of it not the main RA distributor for UK. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Fitted to my 2014 STi no problems and no drilling. Very good quality kit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I went the Rally Armour route and they are fantastic with great fitting kit/brackets.... No regrets in spending the money. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I'd second Rik's comments and if you end up getting it done don't need necessarily go with cheapest. It's all about the prep and that takes labor effort. I had my last bumper respray back 3 times before I'd accept... rushed preparation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Can't wait to hear the H&S exhaust, get some video up when you've had it done.... I'm on the edge of replacing my back boxes with H&S at the moment, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Welcome Stuart [emoji2] looks fantastic and hope you enjoy it... Any plans? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Will do Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. My regular is closer to 22/24mpg [emoji12] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. So was mainly just shifting to next gear at earliest possible time without putting any undue stress on engine, so usually about 2200-2500 rpm, and gradual acceleration rather than foot down and go ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Me and you both Matt, why by a car like this and not use it for what it was built for ;-) This one did surprise me, I was low on fuel at the time and was a mixed route of A, B and motorway for the 30 miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well I think the picture speaks for itself :) Anybody got any better on a reasonable run? Darren P.s my normal is closer to 22/24, so not suggesting you buy an STI for the MPG :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Might be wrong but I think H&S did a lot of rally team exhausts in the past, so not your usual cheap build outfit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Although not as widely known as Miltek, the Hayward and Scott exhausts I've had in the past have been fantastic build and great classic Scooby sound. Good balance between quiet on motorway/normal drive and good classic sound when on the beans. Really tempted on one for my new STi..... Hmmmmmm. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Guess I better get it cleaned up and a bit of photo shoot sometime soon then ;-) No worries Gambit, I've seen how many threads you reply to.... ;-)
  24. Found a reasonably cheap device for updating TPMS to winter sensors and then switch back after. Seems to be used a lot in the U.S. I need to do some more research but Quickset TPMS looks like it fits the bill.
