In-das Head Units
Sorry none specific to the Forester, but a few have upgraded to Pioneer F860BT and the better F970DAB or F980DAB units with full integration to Impreza/WRX/STI. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Found the name, it's Stephen Tatchell and he's now located in Honley. Very easy to find on a Google search ;-) comes with very high recommendations. I decided I couldn't wait on my Honda S2000 and regretted straight away, just wasn't up to this guys standards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi James, I'm in Huddersfield as well and family/friends have always used a guy at Holmebridge, but I think he's moved. I'll find out as he's reasonably priced and does fantastic work. Only downside is he's often booked up in advance, mainly due to popularity. I'll try to find the name of the company and new location. Darren Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

THE TYRE THREAD !
I would buy online from somewhere like Oponeo or Tyreleader and get fitted at a local place. I've saved a reasonable amount of money over the years. I have a new STi and will most like be going with Goodyear Eagle AS 2's or new 3's as per previous recommendations. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why all the negativity about the 2.5 engine
From what I have heard from a few good sources :-) a lot of the info seems have come from the US more than in the UK, and they run on a lot lower quality fuel which with the standard tune from Subaru probably hasn't helped.... But hey what do I know :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice one Gambit, think the half day session will be what I'll go for. Chance to have a wander round as well then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anybody signed up for track time I see its now available to book for the day via Javalin? £99 half day and £149 full day, both open pit lane. Outer Circuit. Very tempted to do a half day session or maybe the full day to have option to go out whenever :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the unit I'd go with now given the choice. http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/avic-f970dab Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Radio Upgrade
I have a Pioneer AVIC 860 unit which I'm really happy with. This unit doesn't have DAB but this range does have a DAB spec and would be the one I'd choose now. I have it fitted in a 2014 STi and is fully integrated with all controls, BT and reversing camera. Looks like a good install but was put at new by previous owner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Air Oil Separator ? Worth fitting ?
Track days will be to a minimum this year, so maybe a couple :-) If I do start doing more next year and when the warranty expires (!!!) I will certainly get a baffled sump and probably swap the OEM pick up at the same time. I've not seen the Missimoto ones yet so I'll look into that brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where to install my catch can
Might be a weird suggestion but is there any space to the left and underneath the intercooler??? Maybe blocked by the master cylinder by the looks of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Air Oil Separator ? Worth fitting ?
Cheers stants, I've seen the catch cans, but preferred not having to empty them and it being a mainly automatic process. These cars should really have them fitted as standard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Air Oil Separator ? Worth fitting ?
After reading quite a lot about the potential detonation caused by the oil contamination in the air/through inter cooler I'm seriously considering fitting an AOS. Currently looking at Grimmspeed, Perrin or ITG. Best for the price I think is the Perrin. Does anybody have a feedback or experience on these, particularly with the track use in mind. Brake Pad Choice - Help
Forgot to say the cold bite on these pads is great better than original ones fitted, also seem to be quieter as well which I didn't expect. More to follow as they bed in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brake Pad Choice - Help
So fitted the EBC Bluestuff NDX and no problems at all, fit really well. Just going through the slow bed in and then get some heat cycles through them. Got a performance driving day at Millbrook in May, so need them perfect for then. Brake fluid change next in April for some Motul 600. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you come from, what do you have now?
Previous car was a 2007 low mileage Honda S2000 (fantastic car, just too small), 2014 Audi A6 S-Line (stupid knee jerk purchase and although it had all the extras, was as boring as chuff to drive) and previous to that 2008 LandRover Discovery 3 (great car, just like driving an arm chair wherever, whenever and is at home in a field similar to a fancy hotel). Current vehicle 2014 WRX STi new shape, best car I've had since my 1996 Prodrive Turbo 2000, 20 years ago :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brake Pad Choice - Help
Just ordered some EBC Bluestuff NDX and Motul 600, so we'll see. Can't say I'm 100% convinced in the EBC's but we'll see [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
