  1. Good to know, might be a purchase for later. Still not convinced about EBC's so when I change brake fluid might change to PF Z's. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Need to check on new date. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah real shame I was hoping to get some track time, not that interested in drag strip or wearing out my clutch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Not problem on my side, sorry. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks savage, just about to order the bits now and then have ago again this weekend. Should be much quicker now I know what I'm doing with inter cooler and most of the pipe routing [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Well that didn't go as planned. Got intercooler taken off (took ages as I didn't realise I had to take a bracket off on right had side to slide out), got a reasonable mounting position and got crank vent and oil lines in. Routed the pipes for the coolant and although 'just' enough pipework, it was fine. Then on to the left and right vents which needed a run round the back of the intercooler for the left one and then realised that this run took up 3/4 of the tubing supplied and also that due to the AOS mount ing position, the tubing wouldn't bend tight enough to connect to the AOS.... DAMM. So had to rebuild the engine back to how I found 5 hours earlier. Now need to get some more 1/2" tubing and 2 more right angle connectors for the AOS. For anybody else doing this get some pipe cutters (made my life much easier) and some Subaru coolant to top up after your fitted the coolant hoses. I also bought 1 hose clamp, but should have bought 2 so i could clamp incoming hose and outgoing hose from throttle body (?) to save loosing coolant. First time I've tried anything his big on a car, so even though it didn't happen, quite happy I got this far and rebuilt everything without a problem.... :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Quick update after a few 'summer tyre' hard braking sessions and lots of smelly brakes, they seemed to have improved a lot. Gonna do another bedding session beginning of May and some spirited runs to check them again, but looking better. I guess the info I found on long hard bedding in is looking correct. 8. Fitting day today, wish me luck [emoji53] didn't think about having to relocate it due to RHD versus LHD and the master brake cylinder.... doh.... Could be fun and not 100% confident at this point in supplied tube/pipe length. Going to do a basic fit and tube run without any real modification and if I need more stuff all I need to do is refit the TMIC then and pop to Halfords or purchase during the week. 9. Moved due to lack of support for track time, only one person signed up. Funny that I was going to sign up next month, didn't know they wanted people to do it earlier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My STi 2014 fuses fitted fine as far as I can remember [emoji6] with the Halfords NextBase cable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I've just contacted Cobra for a quote and they don't do 2014/2015 STi yet, but can do custom build, a few hundred more than standard 2012 STi but maybe worth considering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Dropped in at stealers for a new steering rack (2014 STi under warranty).... Hopefully that fixes the clunky steering, if not then it's the steering column they are going to change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. BTW i choose the cig lighter fuse to power from ;-) so nothing of any consequence should there be a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I've used this method about a week or so ago for a dashcam and bought the cable from Halfords to power from fuse box. Worked a dream and had no issues whatsoever. Looks a much neater installation and works well when I turn ignition on and starts recording automatically :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Black and red all the way Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. My last visit to the dealer, the mechanic (senior) mentioned they fill to approx. 2-3mm under full to allow for expansion when hot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I'd also consider looking at Hayward and Scott exhausts as on my previous Classic Prodrive they have really given the classic Scooby sound. Been a long time since I fitted one so not sure on their quality now was very very good quite a number of years ago. Might also not make any difference if you have equal length manifold. 18. So I've just gone through this search very recently and came up with the following EBC BlueStuff NDX, PFC Z rated pads and Ferodo DS2500. I've used DS2500 on my S2000 and they were good on the road but only did one wet track day with them on. After reading quite a few good reviews (see later) I went with the EBC BlueStuff NDX. Although I've had them fitted for a while to bed them in, plenty of time before driving day, I'm not convinced they are right yet. After further online searches I found quite a few people saying they take a lot to bed in and some who just give up. With this concern in mind I bought another set of PFC Z rated pads which got a lot more good reviews than bad. My recommendations based on research and some experience now would be 1st PFC Z, Ferodo DS2500 and then EBC Blue NDX in that order. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Bit far for me from Holmfirth, but if there was one closer in future I'd be interested. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Dream car and looks amazing, would be great to have on the Subaru Owners Club stand at Blyton :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The amount of double takes my wife gets in our WR blue Scooby is hilarious, especially the thumbs up from passengers in white vans :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Welcome :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Couldn't agree more :-)
  24. BTW anyone fitted a Perrin AOS on a 2014/2015 WRX STi ??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. So have much reading of reviews, I ended up ordering the Perrin one and should be here next week. Wasn't cheap but wanted to keep PCV and after seeing the amount of oil in the inter cooler I wasn't a happy bunny [emoji848]. Doesn't look the simplest of installs but plenty of US based install videos so hopefully is similar.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
