  1. Thanks mate I will give them a call when they are back phone outage until the 13th April I think
  2. Was is the xtreme you had though as I am specifically looking at what is essentially a straight pipe Description doesn't specify catback or turbo back so was looking for someone who has bought one in the past to fill in the gaps
  3. Who has one? Are they road legal? Sound/build quality? Catback or turbo back? http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1480
  4. Thanks all much appreciated
  5. Yep that is pretty much what I am after, I have £150 - £200 to play with and looking for catback only. Would also consider the vortex afterburner - any help getting one of these would be greatly appreciated. Prodrive is just not what i want im afriad...
  6. Oh and I doubt this will appeal to many but I am currently running standard resonator with prodrive back back that I would swap for what I am after.
  7. Little more info currently running prodrove back box with standard resonator and its just far too quiet IMO...I've taken a look and these cat back systems are 550 on Scooby parts but I hear of plenty of people buying these and removing after a couple of months so was hoping someone knows someone who has one sitting about!
  8. Looking at getting one of these for my02 bug, cost over £500 new so looking for used one to bring costs down :)
  9. Will consider aftermarket, local to Horsham area (sussex&surrey) preferable
  10. Well Duncan if you are reading this - I would like 272 bhp...i don't have cash but I do have a scoob - will you help a scoob in need? forget red nose day - lets make this year red scoob day
  11. I agree, one of the less common colours that really dazzles after a good wash although there is something pure about a muddy scoob :D maybe we will cross paths at a meet...
  12. I wonder if yours has had a little work done in the past then? Mine is a standard car bar the prodrive back box - 160K and still pulling hard tells you everything you need to know about the faithful scoob!
  13. I think mine may have lost a few ponies in it's life but it still gives me a buzz ;) been told the 260-270 mark is easily achievable but that is from people with a lot more money than me :L
  14. I want 260-270 bhp, I don't need any more in reality, not at the moment anyway - looking for a growl to pi$$ off the neighbours (joking), No im looking for a as loud a growl I can get for my own personal preference without the hassle of decat, (not lucky enough to know an mot place that will just chuck it through) Just love the sound of a burble But yeah power wise I will be happy stage 1 - which is lucky really becuase it means that I don't have to do too much saving...
  15. Good for you, training first mate anyday - get the training out the way so you can work and get even more money for the scoob! I was told by various people that it was too difficult and involved taking the ecu out, I was also told by various people that they did not have the software. Duncan and a gentlemen name Bob Rawle both offered to complete the remap and both came highly recommended in the end. Mr Rawle gave me some top rate advice on running the car and where to start on mods etc If i had the money I would go to Bob Rawle today but I don't so I will keep saving for the moment
  16. I contacted Duncan a while back, seemed like a nice guy - still haven't had remap completed trying to build funds since I got mine to get everything done the right way - can't remember if i spoke to surrey rolling road - I know i got a hell of a lot of rejections for my bug from mappers
  17. Yeah poured down south...just finished polishing too Where are you going for remap?
  18. Sounds awesome mate - I prefer the greeting you get by a scoob owner than a mini owner...mini owners used to toot scoob owners growl :D its like two rotweiler brothers talking over each other - currently got prodrive back box set up - seriously thinking about making mine as loud as poss without decat - not ashamed to say that the louder the better for me, I hate my neighbours anyway lmsao
  19. Cossy sits in my car park at work every day - if only i could get my hands on... Also thanks to a scoob owner this morning who clearly recognised me as a fellow enthusiast and let me out at roundabout in Horsham area - always nice to see a fellow owner going out of their way for another scoob used to get the same treatment in my classic mini - nice to have those days back!
  20. my little hot hatch was a rover 214!!! ahhh still miss that little beast
  21. Thanks Gambit - the plan is to convert him - that's the reaction I want from my Dad haha! He also doesn't appreciate the history of a car which is something I am still teaching him...
  22. Dad's, think they know it all! wait until I get my impreza sti cosworth in the future - then we will see
  23. Discussion had so many times its unreal mate - it doesn't even need to be wet outside, as soon as he gets a little heavy on the pedal he can't get the power down
  24. Goodmorning and thanks for letting me join the forum - I am so proud to finally own one of these cars, I have saved up to get myself a lovely example of a wrx bugeye and I cannot wait to start getting my teeth into tuning it a little further to get some real grit from it. I chose red because It's not very common in my area I don't think I have actually seen another one around these parts...I might of spent all my cash on the car but I haven't lost hope just yet! http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/subie-build/? Next step is to get my pride and joy to beat my Dads Ford Focus ST-3 - fed up of his continual put downs of 4WD Impreza's and how they are "too slow for him" - really?
