  1. Nice one mate. I'm definitely planning to make it too, so will book through here when I've confirmed.
  2. A couple of pics from KSOC August meet. Seven of us this month. Nice to see you lot
  3. I'll be there on Saturday 1st. Sounds like Matt will be along too.

  5. Nice to see everyone at the weekend - I managed to rattle off a couple of photos. There was also a great turnout of Scoobies at Bromley Pageant on Sunday, let's make that the June meet next summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. What sort of numbers are we looking at for tomorrow then?
  8. I'll be there. Who's meeting at Plumstead? I might join that convoy
  9. I'm just reading back over these posts, and it's helped me figure out who is who! @Rodregos, cheers for letting us know about the meet on Sunday. It was quality. Where can I see / post some pictures of the day?
  10. Hello mate welcome. Good choice putting original bonnet back on.
  11. What is the @name of the instagram page Gambit ??
  12. I should be on board for this. I'll travel down with ScoobyGhost
  13. Thanks, very helpful. It seems like a job worth doing. I can imagine its unpleasant - but it's got to be worth it, especially if I still have the car in another 10 years. Will post before & after pics if I get it done this summer.
  14. What are the pro's and con's of treating the underside of the car? My Impreza has just turned 10 years old. Would people recommend under-sealing to protect it from future issues?? It's a 2005 UK car, and has never been wax-oiled in the many years I have owned it. There are absolutely no signs of rust, and I'd like to keep it that way!
  15. Thanks Pete. Camberly isn't too far - I'll give Surrey Subaru a call for a quote too. Best quote I have had so far is from Scooby Clinic, they were reasonably priced and got back to me right away. But they're up in Chesterfield and I don't know when I'm next up that way.
  16. Thanks Kev. I've found that in London every quote goes over 500. But if I I'm willing to travel a bit, I should get at least a little change out of a monkey. I'll ask FB Tuning for a quote. Cheers
  17. Ah yes, Scooby Clinic is a bit cheaper. Thanks Hopefully someone else will come up with a Subaru Specialist to give me a quote for fitting. Scoobyghost has already kindly got me a quote from his mechanic.
  18. Thanks Stants, Exedy seems to be the only brand name that anyone recommends. It's staying standard, I'm not intending to modify the car at all. So the blue box should be fine. Do you have a recommendation for the cheapest place to buy it - or any club discounts etc that might apply? Eurocarparts shows £260 +vat
  19. Hi all, I've got a 2005 Blob Eye WRX. It's standard, apart from Prodrive kit (fitted from new). The clutch has started to slip slightly, so will need doing very soon. I had a quote of over £1000 from Jem Subaru so will obviously not be getting it done there. I'm located in East London / Kent. I'm looking for either: 1.) A Subaru Specialist garage to provide and fit a clutch at a reasonable cost or 2.) Suitable clutch kit to purchase myself AND a Subaru Specialist to fit it for me at a reasonable labour cost All suggestions welcome - although I will definitely not be carrying out the work myself. Plus any advice on other details surrounding getting a clutch changed. Thanks!
  20. Gambit, I might be interested in your spacers if you're getting rid. Would they fit an 05 Blob? My cars not lowered so I think they would be fine.
  21. Back at work today and still got a smile on my face from the meet on Saturday. My first meet, so thanks for the warm welcome guys - can't wait for the next one. Great pics Matt B)
  22. Hi RayVon, Welcome to the club! I just joined too. Am planning to join them on their Kent meet this Saturday - let me know if you go so I won't be the only newbie!
  23. Thanks for the friendly welcome guys. I will try to come along to the meet on Saturday - I went to a few car meets when I was younger but never really knew how they worked, people always seemed to be in groups and I felt a bit of a wally on my own! Located near Shoreditch in East London, but I'm from Orpington in Kent so I know the 'Bluewater run' very well. I'm not a gorilla no! I've been told I'm a lovely chap, but I can't remember who it was that said so.
  24. Hi all, I've had my 2005 Blob-eye Impreza WRX for about 5 years, and it's been the best car I've ever owned. The car has been in the family for a long time as I actually bought it from my Dad, so it's like a member of the family. However, I've not ventured into the forums or owners clubs in that time. After years of blissful motoring I'm finally starting to find a few niggles with the car, so thought now is the time to start seeking the advice of fellow Impreza owners and Subaru enthusiasts. I'm up for joining in with meets too - so will keep an eye out for anything happening in South-East London or in Kent. Cheers Sparrowhawk
