  1. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5618975180 That's 200Meg fibre i'm paying for :/
  2. That's some great info there, thanks ;)
  3. Due to Virgin Media not being able to sort out my constant T3 Events and disconnects, I quit online gaming :(
  4. The thing with planets is their diversity. I have been to a lot of them, and believe me only select few had no fauna or had small amount. The rest of them we full of things which would attack me or be friendly. Fun part was to find some weird animals. There was a lot of times when I would just laugh out loudly when seeing some of the species :D
  5. I can understand it, since you probably saw all the hype and lies they kept saying. I missed all that, so my expectations were extremely low, so no anger from me towards them ;)
  6. So a bit of an update, or lack of. I'm in this sleepless nights and pure depression period right now :D This is the month, I am supposed to receive a call. All the things from my side are done, just need to receive a phone call and finally get rid of that Scirocco.
  7. Interestingly I missed all the lies and hype game devs said before release. I was hooked purely on space exploration. Only after game came out and I had several hours of playing, I decided to check what is all this noise about. The things which disappointed me with the game was ancient OpenGL coding and performance, no realistic solar systems. No ability to fly outside of solar system and observe it from distance. No ability to reach the sun. When flying out of the galaxy boundaries, space is too dusty to observe the galaxy from further out. Altogether space is too busy in this game. Either way, after I got my exo suit upgraded to max and found the max slot ship I'm on my way to centre of the galaxy. Taking it slow though, in hopes that they will add some features which they were promising :D
  8. Yeah sleepless nights for sure :D I'm already dreaming of some nightmares :D Either way, times flies for me however I look at it. It seems just yesterday I contacted them, and it is already mid of July. Good thing is when I'm at work, I tend to forget about it. Regarding the ceramic pain protection, I am leaning towards doing it with the dealer as it saves quite a bit of hassle. Depending on the price, obviously :D
  9. Some more updates. Had few meetings with Kingshams sales team. Getting a bit intimidated by RB320 parked in the middle of the show room :D but getting back to the point. Just paid deposit for 2017 still WR Perl Blue. Sales is hoping it will arrive by the end of September, as all the slots are already taken for that period. So kinda excited and also reserved in case the delivery gets delayed. At that point I will just probably go to another dealer to grab whatever is available. So yeah, also was surprised that Subaru uses white as their default color, and if you want iconic blue you have to pay for it. I was given an option booklet and they have those golden imola wheels which look oh sooooo goooood. But still went for just blue color and everything else standard. Also been introduced to paint protection package, can't remember the name of it at the moment. Is it worth considering? I heard some stories about Subaru's paint being worse than other manufacturers. So yeah, this is an update, so now will be waiting for couple of months :)
  10. She a beauty, welcome :)
  11. Welcome. Enjoy :)
  12. Just to give an update, made initial contact with Subaru. Website confused me and I requested a call back from Subaru UK. They called me back in half an hour before their work hours. Well impressed with that even though I expected a call from Kingshams Subaru. So went back and requested a phone call from Kingshams, now waiting for call back. Hopefully this Saturday/Sunday will have a meet up and progress the matter further.
  13. Today coming back from work, I passed one of the small car dealers. And they just brought in 2014 STI blue with tinted windows. I had couple of heart attacks and nearly crashed when I saw it. It looks mean. Masons Motor the name of the dealer. 6k miles clocked. 23k. This I think will be my back up if they refuse me finance for brand new one. But yeah, it looked absolutely awesome. Only couple of weeks to go till I make contact with subaru dealer :)
  14. Great post. Thanks.
  15. Ah, thanks, not that bad then ;)
  16. How much is it a year if you don't mind me asking? :)
  17. Ah, I see. Thanks for information :)
  18. So if a car gets stolen, I call subaru and they will track it?
  19. Looking at the list: Merc - the price is beyond everything :/ Seat and Golf: They are VW. I have VW, never again. Renault - French, enough said That leaves RS and BMW. BM is kinda expensive as far as I remember. So as said earlier, Ford went for it this time :)
  20. That is scary. But for me this is not the side I am afraid of. Because if you get chucked out of the car while at lights, and you have your fob in your pockets, there is a panic button I think which will shut the engine and maybe does something else to it. And I switch off the engine before I jump out of the car anyway. What I am worried about is ease of hacking the keyless entry with connection to that car computer port(can't remember how it is called) during the night. As far as I understand those hacking tools are car model specific, there isn't tools which would hack any car you come across. But if my car is eyed by thieves they will get specific tool to do the job. I can understand car manufacturers installing keyless in average joes cars, as they tend to be lazier than us, enthusiasts. So I am still baffled why Type UK comes with keyless instead of physical key with a chip. Subaru should know better that better car security would bring more buyers. And keyless is not the safest thing. On the other topic, I was checking specs of Type UK STI and they say that this car has a tracker (Satellite security tracker is ticked in spec sheet). Does it really? I wonder if insurance could drop the price down due to tracker being present :D P.S. halfway through this comment I accidentally closed the browser tab. With chrome you can re open closed tab, and I clicked on reply button again and my half comment was still there. Very nice :)
  21. While I am preparing myself, I have one issue which is bothering me with those new Subies, keyless start. I have read some horror stories about it. STI is or used to be very popular among YOLO boyracer thieves, I'm a bit concerned. On my street, which is dead end private road I have a neighbour with ford RS. He parks it in the drive way and he has steering wheel locking device. Further down the road there is a WRX blob eye owner who has similar wheel locking device. I wonder why they went with keyless in STI?
  22. admiral does insure subaru ;) I was quoted with all their sister companies and themselves as well ;)
  23. Hang on, I'm just thinking out loud here, and I might be wrong, as I only have been dealing with UK insurance for 2 years. single car. But that NCB thingy, I thought it is the proof that you are driving carefully and have no claims towards your insurance. I never thought that it is a piece of paper with a number on it which only applies to single car? So logically thinking if I have 10 year no claim bonus, which means I was lucky enough careful enough not to have an accident for 10 years and did not bother insurance company with anything, that this 10 years of my careful driving will go to waste if I decide to get a second car? So does that mean that with second car I am suddenly considered as a liability on the road in a same way as young drivers being considered? With same flawed logic(in my opinion) that NCB should be invalidated if I sold my only car with which I spent 10 years without the claim.
  24. Oh, wow, thing of beauty. Welcome :)
  25. Hi, I was considering creating similar thread as well for South East London, as soon I will be looking for non automatic decent car wash. I was wondering if there is any self wash ones where you just put some money in and wash it yourself. From rough internet search I heard that some Shell garages have these self wash car washes. I seen on in Bromley, can't remember if it is self wash or someone actually washes for you. Its in London Rd, Bromley. I will need to check it out one day.
