  1. Gam, on this BBQ weekend thing, sleep with one eye open, i am going to glue all your fingures to your forehead so you can no longer type in this thread lol.
  2. ooo PS i will have an update on the Blitz Air-Filter tomorrow if the weather is good.
  3. yeah Jay, i wasnt a fan when i first saw it 4 years ago but i then drive around and every modded scoob i see has a massive single jap style and i like the fact its sooooo different.
  4. ok here are a couple of teasers for all you perv's.
  5. i would say the chances of you straightening that are going to be low, its box section right??? give it ago its fooked anyway and if he is willing to replace it you have nothing to lose lol.
  6. i gues mine has been loved lol.
  7. Same thought as me, well my first thought was hmmmmmm wonder if the gearbox will fit in my leggy and make it a drift car lol, then i thought, hmmmm wonder if the FA20 would bolt up to our EJ gearboxes.
  8. its the 3rd i have heard of going in the last 4 days. i am really starting to worry lol
  9. sticky mess, loved this car before, love it even more now.
  10. lmao two before i signed up here but the other is a dedicated leggy one lol
  11. sounds more like little ends to me, but thats going off other engine brands i have experienced.
  12. hahahahaha NEVER!!!!!!!! lol. nothing is older than my scoob, thinking about it on the 3 scoob forums i have been on i have only found two older than mine lol
  13. welcome, nice looking motor.
  14. yeah i had a dig about and i have found out its fitted with a Superchips ABC Fuel Cut Defender which has got good reviews so its staying for the moment until i can afford a Daughter boarded ECU and get it Mapped.
  15. nope you dont, 93 turbo 4x4 leggy lol
  16. Aug??? well i want to get the rust sorted so that will be taking up most of my spare money lol. when i took the MBC out it was running 5psi and it was sooooooo much slower than at 10psi. i recon there has to be a good 30bhp difference. oh and got my first taste of better when wet and i loved it, the grip these things get in the wet is mint and unlike anything i have had before.
  17. yeah i refitted it and i have learnt its only 1 or 2 clicks from closed that is where the adjustment is.holding 10psi now and i am well happy.
  18. Well today I thought I would go buy a couple of treats for the leggy. problem is, the Blitz filter said it was for a Scooby (typical eBay item) but unfortinatly the MAF plate is wrong so I am going to have to make an adaptor plate grrrrr, at least the vac pipe was right, nice Forge Silicon Vac pipe. so couldn't fit the filter but I did fit the Vac pipes, what do you guys think, personally I prefer the darker red of the Forge pipes to some of these cheaper bright red ones.
  19. well I set about today tidying up my engine bay a little, removed the disconnected AC pump so that's saved a couple of kilo's of weight, I then set about and removed the MBC (Manual Boost Controller) as I thought it wasn't doing anything, turns out it was just open fully and allowing max psi, turns out stock these only run 5psi and the turbo is only capable of 12psi, oh well we live and learn, tomorrows job, re-fit MBC and hopefully get it to hold 10psi
  20. count me in as long as your not in devon or cornwall.
  21. don't get me wrong, the stock seats were comfy and for their age they offered half decent support, but I just prefer the look and feel of the WRX seats, its the first mod I have done to this car that I know 100% I wont be undoing lol
  22. well before I went bank holiday car booting I fitted my seats, bolt in swap my fooking !Removed!, the seat belt clips are slightly different but only found this out once I had the seats in and swapping them over with the seats in place was such a PITA lol Before After so much more comfy and even the misses said, and this is a quote " its like getting a hug off you", I nearly crashed laughing lol, the support is a million times better. Well happy Mario lol
  23. lmao, he threw in a V6/7??? Steering wheel too lol which I have no need for so it will be going in the for sale section.
  24. doubt I will fit harness as the misses don't like them and to be fair it hurts my left shoulder putting them on (old BMX injury) so think I will just stick with the stock 3 points lol still cant get over getting them for £31 lol, total bargin and immaculate too.
  25. tomorrow morning will be spent with my spanners and fitting a pair of these vvvvv into my leggy.
