  1. Let me get this right.

You've bought a high performance car and don't know if it's had a build or not. If it has you don't know by who!

And the previous owners doesn't know?

Bells ringing alarm. Comes to mind for me!

When I bought my 330s I knew where it originally was sold new. Owners had had it from new and px at Subaru dealer where I bought it from. Car had full Subaru service history. As it does.

Did you buy at a good price?

  2. Can't say I've seen any other white 330s' about in Nottm.... was it bought private or at a trader?

    is it running on Vpower?

Get it to ScoobyClinic at Chesterfield or Carnetix at Melton to get checked out.

A guy on MidlandScoobies had bought a white STi hatch, it had had a ss zort and induction kit fitted.... but never had a re map!!! the car ran like pants.

  3. TBH serviceing cost on my STi 330s haven't been to bad.

    3rd yr service was £270

    4th yr service £350

    5th yr service £195

all at main Subaru dealer in Europa @ Sheffield :)

petrol cost is the biggy along with Road Tax.

insurance for me is now cheaper than the RT

I'm still under warranty, so break down parts I'm now worrying about till next January ;)

these are Premiumautostyle rear red overlays for the 2008- sti hatch, I've imported a few sets and have a couple of sets left over.

they are £30 including P&P (sign for delivery) PayPal will be fine. these will be sent out in a a3 size hard backed envelope.

a how to fit guide is on youtube, search for premiumautostyle rear overlay fitting

    BHP & Torque

    DSC_0445_zps6654a23b.jpg

I'm quite pleased, as I'm still really a standard car apart from a ProR air filter.

book listed figures for my car are 325bhp/347LbT

so 319/359 I'm happy, bhp could be lower due to temprature or the rollers etc, but Torque is up on normal.. and it's all about the torque!! ;)

  6. If I drive mine spiritually as they should be driven I tend to drive sensibly for the remaining couple of miles before I get home,no boost low revs cruise in 4th or 5th,saves the fuel then instead of it sitting on your drive ' cooling down ' . A turbo timer is useful if my way is not for you.

interesting thread on www.m-soc.com about turbo timers.. being a waste of time.
