I run a set of Std STi alloys for winter.

got them off eBay at great price virtually brand new with min mileage on the tyres.

then had them powder coated the colour I wanted for £240

Tidgy iirc these clutches are for up to 400bhp which is my goal. Remap next week hopefully once the garage i use receive his ecutek stuff so hopefully pushing low 300s.

muppet, how did he do that, cover heated it? you only need a warm hair dryer.

soapy water, a vinyl squeegee and hair dryer is all you need.... and a bit of patience. I did mine ok. trimming the edges are the tricky bit ;) I whipped my clusters out to do that. but fitted while on the car.  

alloys look great, yellow brakes look super.

just needs some rear smoked overlays now ;)

Were you there person who did the SIDC/TrueGrip write up about HULL's police subarus back in the bay?

I removed mine when it came to wrapping over the top edge,  still cut it short though lol

I didn't get mine very neat at the top edge.. was too tired.. it was too late at night.

but have seen it done on a friends car nice and neat.

You only need a hair dryer on a warm setting... not all out full heat blast lol

how can you burn it with a hair dryer lol

did you take it out to fit?

why haven't you got a clear Fog light.. for about £70

D2's are almost £1k tho.

Ksport/D2 are the same casting aren't they? just a different brand engraved on the case

clean any tyre dressing off with meths

carefully apply

tape/mask up well

Stainblocked it forst, as the stuff will stop the rubber staining the white gloss.. plus it doesn't seem to want to come off anything you put it on.

Acrylic White gloss paint, just a couple of light wafts

allow to dry then remove carefully the vinyl cut stencil

I'm only showing you one...... the best effort one! 

So now waiting to clean the car and hopefully jet wash them off... as I think it'll come off like that. lol

But I do like the F1/rall/ race car style lettering on tyres... is there a brand that does it from new??

Went to Halfrauds, bought some meguiars bits as they're still 3 for 2. Bought some wiper blades for the wife's XV as she couldn't see a darn thing but said they'd be ok for a bit. Used my owners club discount card which caused the usual shenanigans. Got there in the end [emoji39]

I picked some wiper blade pack up for the wifes Focus the other week.. Halfords own brand.. no price on the box so I went back to the rail to check.. £36!!!!! so i put them back!

got on the eBay app on the phone... fronts and rear blade for a 2005 Focus delivered just under £10 as the 'seller' had 10% off.

came in two days!

work a treat :)

How can Halfords charge £36 just to put them in a Halford box? The Bosh ones were even more!!!!

I bought these 2nd hand the other week, now gone off the idea of fitting them.

JDM mirrors are smaller than the UK ones.

They have the wires to hook up, obviously I've not fitted them to see them working. Been told they can be converted to heated mirrors if you want. (Don has done that on his car)

some small stone chips (I've touched up a couple) and general wear and tear marks.. nothing major though.

Could be all stripped down and re sprayed what ever colour you wanted.

my teo dash cams I bought for £16 each, i had to send back fro a refund,. as they kept freezing and not recording.

the one in my scoob that was £45 seems to be working fine tho .

Do they do an "oiled" version then for the WRX? I really dont want to go down the induction route....
