Yeah sorry my post was mis worded really. People slow down through cameras cos they think they'll get snapped doing dead on the indicated speed in reality the speedo's out and the camera has some + variance.

Game over there i'm afraid. Only thing you could do is ask to check the calibration cretificate maybe check their car see if theres a bulb out :-D

Arrgh speed camera ! Even if everyone knew this info wouldnt stop stamping on the brakes every time the come up to one ! Which if you go by that calculation and if the camera is set at +3%you'd have to be doing an indicated 48-50 to get caught. My phones gps gives a slightly different rrad to the tom tom ?

Sad news indeed but looking at that pic you have to think that i could have been avoided. Don't want to speculate on grim things but a case of to much speed in a built up area. The car must have been traveling with some force for it to be wrapped round the post. Needless loss

Bip, what did the change do mechanically ? More brake pressure & force is it a bigger unit or just better quality ? At the mo i'm just looking for little bits and bobs i can buy here and there to improve things. Nothing too major and i've no intention of tracking the car and i'm banned from 'spirited' driving by the misses :'(

Ordered the tegiwa one should be here mon or tuesday. Have a few days off so i'll fit it and get some pics on weds/thurs It looked exactly the same as the cdf stopper so couldn't see the point in spending more than i need to.

Been reading that if you remove air box from n/s and washer bottle from o/s you can just about reach them with a small drive socket. Mechanic i use does loosen the mounts and lifts either side to reach, i've been told you can change the rocker gaskets this way too leving the motor in.

Nope Looking at list of tracks i'd reckon on12-15 laps for most tracks would equate to 20min races so i've never really raced over 5 so should be interesting how long do tyres last normally ?

What was the goal a load of races in an hour or 2 tracks in an hour ? I'd say 3-4 laps for most of them road america lemans and the ring 2laps class dependant due to size

That also does my head in, find yourself racing the ghost getting giddy and crashing where they fall off haha. It can be turned on and off so it's all good

Any lap should be recorded, free play, hot lap and the ones when your in your tuning/test drive menu will be if you exit out of it correctly. All leader boards will show your fastest clean lap regardless of where it's set. If the races aren't even after a few games there is the option of handicapping certain things but i've never used it. How many laps were you thinking of per race ?

I hate that track ! Can never find the breaking point on second to last corner haha ! Sounds like a good idea then at least if we are in a ckub er can post a time as and when it suits us and theres no way of cheating the system

i seem to have a load more space around my cylinder and not much else attached to the fire wall. So should be a doddle to fit. Been searching for write ups and a few of the us forums say the are good mod for the classics.may just take the plunge do a write up/review for our forum

Does anyone have this fitted and does it actually provide day to day real world benifits ? I've read that the subaru bulkhead isn't the strongest but it takes a lot of force to distort a bit of metal, maybe it would eliminate a little movement ? I can see under track conditions and hard driving it would be of use but am wondering if it would just be a placebo. I know braided lines would make mores sense but i don't really have the time at the mo to upgrade. Should i take a punt at a 35 quid part or save my money for other things ?
