J As in it won't arm while running ? But if hand brake released the engine will cut and immobilser will kick in after 30 secs anyway ? My old hornet alarm had a tt function but i didn't have a turbo :-D have a viper one installed and it says in manual there is a passive arm that can be programmed in after 30secs may just speak to the chap who installed my old one and see what he says Is there much difference between the type 1 and type 2 hks timers ?

Thanks :-) 1st one i've done. After a couple days driving and you can tell the difference. The pedal doesn't feel as slack and soggy when pressed and i'd say it's worth the pennies. Wether the cusco cdf or other makes are worth the premium is hard to tell without trying each one

I'm just looking at their stuff at the mo as it's all half price in run up to christmas. I understand it's never gonna be as good as snap on but i'm not using it every day so i'm not that bothered. I'm kicking myself now just after i left school i was offered a load of snap on stuff and the option to start building up a cabinet. With the place i was on a yts scheme But being 16 i was more interested on spending me 60quid a week on trying to get in the pub and pull birds than a spanner a week haha

To be fair there's gonna be races where no one puts a clean one in so just go with fastest lap on the night. Make a note of it when we complete the race for the boards

Yep shows your best lap regardless. The triangle will be highlighted on the far right if your deemed to have cut

After sorting he brake stopper out the other day i thought i'd take stock of me tools as my crappy machine mart wrench gave up and the other back up one i have fron them is equally as bad. It was only a cheapish set in the first place and after in quick invntory i've lost half of them and seemed to have 'borrowed' a selection feom my dads set. Which is a nice old kamasa set, (must be as old as i am and all still in working order) Any one got any pionters as to a half decent set. Don't want to spend loads but i'd like quality not quantity. i've loads of decent spanners just short on a socket set. What do people thing of the halfords pro stuff ?

Lol ! I think i was the only one to get a clean lap in last night on the track. Community bpards will only show fastest overall lap so you may have set it on free run ? Not complaining sjust trying to steal your thunder and stop you cleaning up on the top spots :-D

If we do decide to race it i'll put damage as cosmetic its horrendous ! I think it will be another six lapper if we do but i'd rather forfit it haha Could always swap it out. Did you put road atlanta in ? Can easily do 10 laps on that one nice and fast with some twisty bits.

Haha i'd have made it at the speed i was travelling if you wern't sat having looking for doggers. He was running an adjustable front wing which would have helped matters. When i get a spare ten i'll build something a bit more powerful for the next track

To be fair if nick andbi haddn't been made of magnets in the 1st laps and you haddn't have taken that chicane and granny speed it would have been a bit of a more competitive race. More power needed me thinks was outgunned to easily i'll save the 22b for shorter twisty tracks. Spent a little after the race making the diff less agressive and taking some camber off. My rears wern't even working properly ;-)

I only use them for the wheel as it won't take the ms pack or a chrage point grrr

If you want a basic guide there are a couple of apps and some calculators on the web for tuning. Depends on how much you want to geek it up !
