  1. It geta quite a bit of hammer being low i thought i'd just lift stuff in and out but when putting shopping and what not in always rest on that bit before reaching into the depths of the boot. i recon it would be a worthwile investment if i still had a dog keeps the rear end looking fresh. dog + wet car is always a dangerous combo

No car stuff for me :'( had to buy it myself as the missess and my folks beleive i should spend some money on gifts for me rather than things i'd like for the car. So ended up with gallons of booze a few bits and bobs smellies and what loads chocolate. So i've told yhem any money i get will pay myself back for the seats i bought :-D
  3. Maybe your top mounts knocking common issue, whne mine was being serviced i mentoned the clunking sound coming from the n/s got told the droplinks were nearly new and it wasn't anything serious. Pair of group n tops will set you back about 85quid each off the bay. (Another thing on my list) I'd google a tinting firm. There's a place nearme that will do 4 windows for 100quid. (No good to us with five) i echo jay's comments the kits you get are pants and you'll always end up with at least one bubble you can't remove which will annoy you forever. Will set the car off and look good (i am biased though) plus keep the interior a bit cooler im the summer :-)
  4. I'd have some cash available to get bumper re sprayed if you did. The laquer on mine isnt very thick and is peeling a bit where the bumper steps down slightly. Is it on a sg foz ? I was gollowing one the other day in town and saw it had the protector on thought it looked quite good. Was thinking if one would fit mine

Haha, I'm sure your misses is sick of seeing you in yet another pair of her french nickers though gambit ! I was a bit unsure at 1st when i put them in and sat down. After10min drive i'm won over. Just got to figure a way of getting in without doing myself an injury now !
  8. :-) No wifi at work

Anyone buying their car a prezzie this year ? I can't see a new exhaust poking out feom under the tree so i guess the misses didn't get the hint :-( Treated myself to these instead (thanks Adam) :-)
  10. Twitchy bum time ! Is that the vid with the interview ? If not He was saying it was due to the extra weight of the passenger on that run that compressed the car more !
  11. Have a look in the doorframe i have two fitments available to me. At the mo i'm on 215/60/16 95 v But i'm sure the sticker says 205 can be used
  12. Sounds good to me i've got stuff on now pretty much every day untill nye
  13. Maybe postone till after christmas ? Not gonna get much chance this week to do owt.
  14. Might not be able to make this at a do in huddersfield at the mo. Misses is getting !Removed! so i'll be on baby duties
  15. What van you got ? Mines owned by company so it's driven harder than my own. We had a dispatch really torquey slightest wet conditions and it would loose traction. No tcs on it either. They were silly wide for a van to so i think they were nearly 150 a corner. We got it with 9000 miles on and was worst van i've ever had for relialibility. Wasn't right from tje start used to eat the n/s tyre for fun. Had everything changed and aligned but no fix
  16. That's what i thought. Couldn't remember if it was doing it before i put it diag mode. Can't recalling it doing it after unplugging it. I've always wondered what speed you have to average to get caught. Even when doing a gps verified 50 lorries are going past at 56. Still does wonders for fuel consumption and i don't fancy getting a ticket trying
  17. Right i've some autoglym shampoo suff so will have a go 1st then take to valet place. This isn't dark. Dark is being trapped in a room with gambit and his dreams !
  18. Two crescent shaped cheek holes in a sea of leather shouldn't cause too much problem
  19. One thing i did notice when i stopped the boost solinoid was clicking like crazy. Dunno ifbghats cos i was in diagnostic mode or not. Yeah weather was nice met adam from the forum. Only problem was i forgot about the two long sections of 50 mph motorway restrictions grr !
  20. Haha i wasn't thinking of anything that tame. Thought you'd have some pics of more disturbing practices
  21. All levels were good was a 350 mile round trip so fluids were checked before and after. Maybe it's the o2 sensor wiring on way out or grounding. The only thing i dis with the gauges is cut a redundant swich out wire the the two ends together and solder a live feed in i was carefull not to mess too much with that . Only doing it when everythings got hot and been run for a while i'll don't want to change anything too swiftly
  22. I dread to think what ideas you have !
  23. On way to collect some seats today, came on about an hour into my journey while sat at 50 literally blinked then went out happened again an hour later same thing. On return journey stopped for food plug diagnostic in to see what was up and no faults came up. Didn't happen at all on way back. Two months ago i got a reading of o2 sensor cleared it and never came back. Any ideas ?
  24. They are sat at work at the mo so i may attack them monday. Give them time to dry over christmas fit on friday when back at work :-) Thinking anout sticking them in me van and taking hem to the local hand car wash see if they can do them with valeting machine
  25. There's no chance of driving like a tool towards his as the road is horrendous if i remember :-)
