  1. On way to collect some seats today, came on about an hour into my journey while sat at 50 literally blinked then went out happened again an hour later same thing. On return journey stopped for food plug diagnostic in to see what was up and no faults came up. Didn't happen at all on way back. Two months ago i got a reading of o2 sensor cleared it and never came back. Any ideas ?
  2. They are sat at work at the mo so i may attack them monday. Give them time to dry over christmas fit on friday when back at work :-) Thinking anout sticking them in me van and taking hem to the local hand car wash see if they can do them with valeting machine
  3. There's no chance of driving like a tool towards his as the road is horrendous if i remember :-)
  4. Juat picked up some seats but are in need of a clean. Misses has one of those steam cleaners. Anyone used one on car interiors before ?
  5. No chance of that for me this year, none of the misses's family drive so muggins here is des driver. Only day i don't have to go anywhere is christmas day
  6. You don't need to be left alone for that to happen. I'm sure that boke in your sig lives on the farm
  7. I'll prob not be able to get down till at least the 2nd week in jan
  8. Oh well cheaper then :-) hopefully !
  9. No worries :-) Thats based on a 16" rim think yours may be an inch bigger Don't know if you'd be able to get them cheaper else where of you shop around. My work has an agreement with them to supply our vans. Usefull to see whats availabe for any car though.
  10. http://www.etyres.co.uk/car-tyres-uk/searchresultsnew?postcodeText=ls27qz&tyreWidthId=7&tyreProfileId=5&tyreWheelId=4&tyreLoadRating=99&tyreSpeedId=0&orderBy=price&pcVar=&vn=none&asc=1&newmenu=YES&showmenu=YES&tyre4X4=F click on premium at top then about halfway down the page are the goodyear effegrip or something the Michelin energy savers aren't bad either although i always found the michelin agilis on my old van really soft, used to go through a set every 5000 :o plenty of choice there
  11. Re manual, i'm sure gambit will have one hidden somewhere. I'd always say just go with the best tyre you budget will allow as it's the only thing keeping you in contact with the road. I've been looking at the michilen and goodyear ones they aeem to have the best combination of all things
  12. Quite a lot of the forester ones seem to be a trade off between noise/ wet weather ability or noise/ economy. With it being a reinforced tyre it limits choice some what. At the end of the day there are 4 driven wheels so wet weather handling is better anyway. When i bought my foz it had two new budget on the rear and two nearly new budget on the front. I'll put something decent on next time round but i've not had any problems in the wet or off road so far see how they are in the snow. They also have a better score in the wet than some premium brands. Downside is noise and fuel economy

    It's on

Ouch i'm sure it was only 1.50 postage when i got mine ? Has it gone up due to shop changing ? I presume that they do a batch and just sell. The backing on mine was quite discoloured so i put the problems down to it being sat round for ages. Maybe being 'old' in sticker terms. It's been on for six months now and survived nurmerous encounters with the hand car wash idiots. I recon the admins should get you a replacement as a good will gesture ;-)

Soc sticker ! Dunno if it's just the yellow ones but mine was a pain to apply half the letters were left on the backing, had to get the tweezers out peel them off and mount. Considering i was rubbush at airfix transfers i did a hslf decent job :-)
  15. Everyone in for tonights round ? No broken bones being !Removed! or other excuses ! :-)
  16. Haha i went down to halfords and had a look at the 60 peice 1/4 and 3/8th set i was gonna buy it but the socket sizes are a but random just gonna have a look at the smaller set but i had a bigger range of sizes juat didn't have it in stock
  17. If everything goes to plan i'll have the seats from my forester spare. I don't know how much they differ in size and height to the buckets but it will be a more upright driving position for your girlfriend.
  18. Yeah yeah ! Got up early this morning to build me a faster car
  19. Ah now i understand your meaning of a 'quick lap'
  20. It's cos i'm peering out the window expecting a masked man in a cherry picker to be fumbling with himself :O
  21. Think i'm confusing myself aswell. Thats ok then clean lap put in by me already.
  22. All those ones on sy fi channel are the best. Mega shark vs series seem to be onto a winner although sharknado gets my vote
