  1. Silver is my fav for hiding dust and pollen etc and white would be my 2nd fav
  2. I havent seen the Final Edition for sale much, they're either all sold or not over here yet, because i keep seeing the same WRX STIs for sale all the time
  3. Yes it's really expensive to import from Japan...........you're looking at maybe 60k last time i looked, i think the car was about 50k and then you'll have VAT and everything else, but i gave up after 5 minutes research and soon forgot about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the final edition is about 35k, you might get one for say 33k........... but for me the best bet is a very low mileage 2nd hand in the new year
  4. sorry this post is very late, but it might be of interest to Hampshire members :- http://www.tritonmotorsport.com/showpage.php?id=index_cont this garage is close to me, he'll rebuild the 2015 WRX STI to 400bhp for less than 5k, including Remap.................this includes a total bottom end rebuild, i.e new main bearings etc............... the top end will need new pistons/ con rods etc. he said roughly what i said `` if you want 400hp dont bother buying a new car, but one with around 10-15k miles on it, because to be really safe the whole engine needs rebuilding.......................he was a nice bloke on the phone. i quite like the 2012 WRX STI R340 and he said, ``it's the same as the 2015, it'll still need a rebuild``........... this ``really safe engine query`` is sort of up to you....... you might be ok without an engine rebuild on a newish engine, you might not, there is no clear answer on this.
  5. hi Guys that 10k quote for the Scoobyclinic closed deck engine, i've got a feeling that when you get this you're still at 300hp.............it'll only be 600hp after you've bought everything else, i forgot to ask him sorry !!!! i dont think you even get the stage 2...........360hp either. i can ring him tomorrow.
  6. lets see what this new Type RA is like 1st, but i expect we wont get it here in the U.K
  7. we'll find out next week !..............but it looks like Japan only
  8. . It'll be blue with gold wheels and if we do get it (maybe) it's bound to be expensive..................BUT it might not be more expensive than having to tune up a normal WRX STI to 360HP...................so say it's 36k, now that's interesting. big question mark...............will we get it or Japan only, like that S Version
  9. . but is it for sale over here and what's the price ??????????????
  10. there's also a WRX STI Type RA due out very soon.................check it out below https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/subaru-has-two-new-performance-models-coming-on-june-8/
  11. do they do Engine mods to 360hp like Scooby Clinic ?? Scooby Clinic seem ok to me............i just worry about their high prices that's all maybe i can just get her remapped/ induction kit and just settle for 330HP, because it's not as if the WRX STI is slow already
  12. COLOUR ?..............my guess is i've got little choice and it'll be a fun weekend car only, so it'll only be driven on sunny/dry days......best colour is probably Blue or grey, because the silver and white are too rare..................blue is classic Scooby...............UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM the big problem here is budget, because it looks like it has to be raised.
  13. yes exactly...........no owner is going to drive it slowly because you buy it to drive it fast !! .....i too sense that they're all abused, but not one with less than 200 miles, that could be traded in because the buyer hated the hard ride etc.............. or a car that the dealer just cant sell. ok so we're after something that's around 100 - 200 miles, i'll then offer him 1k less...........``take it or leave it`` so it's now a waiting game until the right car comes along ! ................silver or white only.
  14. in scotland there was a silver one......................50 miles only 27k, but he sold it the day i rang up; it was on sale for ages. Silver isn't a popular colour so maybe it's this or maybe they just cant sell them...not sure. i'm not so much suspicious of this, i'm suspicious of 2000 miles and THRASHED, because the white one i've shown above looks thrashed to me, esp when he's de-bagged it and added the black roof etc.
