adzz22
Hi I'm wanting to swap my old recirculating bov for a after market one. Only prob is mine seems to be a different set up to others I've seen. Most subaru bov's I've seen are fitted onto the intercooler, mine is in a different place, and looking at bov's to buy none of them seem to look like the correct fitment. I've attached a few pics so anyone can see. I have found one bov but looking at it it looks like it would leave a pipe from the air box that will just be hanging there. maybe i'd need a different air filter set up? Any help into how to fit one on my set up would be great cheers.
stants
Hi mate, not sure is yours an early classic ? Never seen the bov in that position either, I take it that's an after market intercooler ? Is the top port on your boost soliniod not connected because of the manual boost controller ? Anyway the pic of the aftermarket bov looks like it's for an v3-4 car which fits in the elbow what leads away from the right hand side of the cooler on most cars. savage bulldogs
Unsure about what type of valve you need but the engine in the first pic is a v1/v2 with a phase 1 inlet set up . So ask the seller if it's compatible
