savage bulldogs Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Give me 30 mins and I'll take some fella [emoji106]
savage bulldogs Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Here you go bud It's my old 97 uk turbo
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Isn't much better then mine really is it. But maybe with a sand down n some paint mite get away with it on a MOT
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 I have seen this on eBay do you think they would fit on to a classic like ours? I think there for the newer impreza's like.
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 That looks like the underside of a classic but with different links n arms like in the pic above
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 And the ones on eBay are adjustable anyone with advice about this can it be done?
Scoobyghost Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Did you say the sub frame was buckled too? I can imagine those arms/links will work if you're doing both sides as they're adjustable but I don't know much about the in and outs of it all. Not sure if I would trust an adjustable joint on my daily car. And the set up will take some intricate measuring.
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Yes subframe is way past the point of been fixed will need replacement. The Wright up for them sound good but there not for comfort. But if you wanted comfort you wouldn't buy a impreza haha
Scoobyghost Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Yeah that's right. I know the rear track on a classic is 1450mm have a look about for the size of new age cars if they tally up then I don't see much reason they won't fit. Check the wheel base too. I don't know that measurement. [emoji14]
james_parker9631 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Do you know if the sub frame has changed from classic to newer one
Scoobyghost Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I don't, sorry. I've only ever been a classic man.
