It was brought to my attention that at 60,000 miles a big service is needed is there anywhere in the northeast that does it cheaper that normal garges? I'm waiting on a reply from the garage I bought it from to see if they did it but I doubt it.

Is that who ash and Nick were on about doing all the cheap parts for scoobies?

Probably, ash nick tom gambit and myself all use Sheffield subaru services. Easy to find just round the corner from medowhall

I use a place in Thornaby independent guy, knows his way around scoobies and many other performance cars. He was recommended to me when i had my celica does really good work and fair price.

He did my service/plugs/cambelt kit last year and I always go to him now.

I normally supply the parts and he does the labour

+1 for Sheffield subaru service. Top blokes.

Yea Mike, Sheff Subaru Services is the one Ash and I recommended.

Like Stants says, he'll charge about £380 for it while most I asked wanted £600+ Martin is the guy who runs it and he's worked on Subaru's for years. Worked at the dealership for a lot of that too like I said, so he knows what he's doing. Always does a great job on mine.

+1 for scooby services, if you check my build thread you can see him putting my block together.

Does anyone know of a friendly and reasonable Subaru garage outside north London. A10 or M11. Happy to travel a bit but Sheffield is a bit far for me. Cheers.
