Hello mate welcome back into the fold :) I bet it feels good to be back. I know how hard it was when mine was having an engine rebuild longest  7 weeks of my life lol :D can't imagine 2 years :(

Yes, I feel really good to be back with new Scooby :D . Going back to My first 02 bug eye just after 4 months having it I had to rebuild engine and took 9 weeks .

So this time will take care of.... properly ;)

Glad to hear it ;) And I'm sure the 1st engine wasn't your fault just unfortunate I know Weeksy on here spent ages make sure he knew how to look after one properly bought it before he'd even got home Head Gasket had gone. Now doesn't take a genius to work out that it was sold with this fault poor bloke but he's now got her back on the road happily at more expense  but I look at it as a learning curve :D

im expecting my engine build to take roughly 8 weeks, so 9 is ok. i'd be warry if they did it in a couple of days ;)

Na am not after it done mate just wondering how much it costs a use my car every day so like to keep it stock hope to get a lot more miles out of my engine it's only got 40k on it

40k not even run in yet [emoji16]

Aye think it's been a 2nd car for weekends only done 10k in last 5 years

I paid just over 2.5k so not too bed ;)  Now I hope that I will not have to build the engine again in my new Scooby :)  and can spend those money in different way :D
