Jay762
All - I was sat next to a chap who works for a company thatmanufactures soap and he mentioned swarfega was one of their brands -anyhow after chatting I mentioned if he had thought of getting someclassic styled t shirts done with the logo - like the type you get inthe moto legends catalogue - as I said I would buy one of those, such afan of the product was I. He said he had sat in many marketing meetings and had discussed thetopic but was intrigued that someone without being prompted hadmentioned it. I then mentioned the forum and the type of members we had (happy totwirl a few spanners and generally have a go at stuff) and I wouldgenerate a quick straw poll and feedback So what do you all think? Answer - simple: Yes No Dont like brand or product I will be feeding the results back to the company so the more contribution we get the better. Cheers Jay

Tlag
I've used swarfega for years. I would get one. I think it's one of those products that you could get away with a vintage look shirt design. Just my thoughts. :)

BoozyDave
I like the brand and the hand cleaner is great. but, would I spend my own, hard earned money on a branded t shirt? nope, if I wore one I'd feel a twunt

stants
I'm with dave on this, most people wouldn't have a clue what it is now that hardly anyone actually gets their hands dirty for a living these days
Jay762
But if they gave them away with a can ..........! Now that is interesting - so as a brand reinforcement exercise that would be good
Jay762
I'm with dave on this, most people wouldn't have a clue what it is now that hardly anyone actually gets their hands dirty for a living these days I do use gloves myself for a lot of things so dont use as much as I used to but still get through quite a bit, probably 3 pots a year. So do you think people dont know what it is as they use an alternative or that they are just not getting dirty?
BoozyDave
People know the brand, but most wouldn't buy one. I use andrex bog roll, would I buy a tshirt and wear it?

So do you think people dont know what it is as they use an alternative or that they are just not getting dirty? I reckon people don't get as dirty, no real manufacturin/heavy industry these days , and people wear ppe more, I grew up with having pots of the green stuff in the house due to my dad, i have a big 1kg tub under the sink but it will last me a good couple of years, Now a days there are a lot of other brands available, we got loads of loctite hand cleaner free from various reps at work etc. I'm not nocking the brand or owt, just don't know how well received tee's would be
BoozyDave
like stants said there are a lot of other brands offering similar products. when I'm at work in my van, for cleaning most of the crap off my hands, the first thing I use is a couple of wonder wipes, don't need a sink or water either
