The garage did unplug it and said it was doing what it's ment todo when unplugged can't remember what it's ment todo. Is it ment to stall the car. savage bulldogs Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 make sure the all contact cleaner has evaporated and that the element is dry ,refit it and reset the ecu before you fire it back up . Scoobyterzo Posted August 26, 2015 Author Share Posted August 26, 2015 Ok so spoke to my garage and they did clean the maf sensor so I've booked it in to be done. He's said that the air comes through to maf tells the ecu how much fuel to chuck in which will be wrong if it's a faulty maf then when it gets to the lamda sensor it basically says hold on this is wrong and the cuts car out.
