I'm pulling my hair out searching all over the net there's very little information about my serials

There should be also be a vin number stamped on the bulkhead just above the intercooler, if it's an import will be shorter than uk car,

I'll try find the link to decoding vin no's on here somewhere the option and trim code are pointless trying to decipher as no one seems to know much about them

Is it that long ? If so i'd say it's a uk car as mine is about 8 digits long

Think you're probably right there tidgy as my 97 v3 uk had the same code apart from the second "c" in your code was replaced by a "e" in mine .

The paint code (406) is the same as both of my classics so it looks like your scoob was originally a silver v2 uk turbo [emoji6]

Cheers guys at least I know it's definitely a UK turbo v2 only thing that made me curios was my insurance company questioned it saying are u sure it's not an import and from what I knew it was a UK but just wanted to double check

Usually cosmetic clues give an import away but it's not always the case
