Will an exhaust system from a WRX hatchback fit on a diesel hatchback?

I am looking to get a diesel Impreza hatchback in the next few months. Out of curiosity, can I fit a WRX exhaust system on it?

Not a 100% but the back box should fit the centre might fit and not sure on the down pipe. As diesel has different cats and emissions systems so would expect it to need some work.

However an exhaust place would be able to adapt it to fit for you might cost £100 or something to make up a downpipe or what ever you need to join it up.
