Decided it's time to go decat - anyone got a newage decat dp for sale to mate with 2.5" resonated pipe (afterburner)

Failing this can anyone recommend a retailer for these at a good price?

About 7 months ago I sold one mate was a 3" though about £45 with postage and that wasn't even a club member :(

i see japspeed sell one for £130 but I've heard horror stories when it comes to fitting?

This was a milltek too  but was 2nd hand  I think it's always the case. I'd had it kicking about in the garage and new I was moving so sold it on. :( 

Would prob look at getting a custom one made up. Local place to me will do a decat downpipe for £100.

You had a word with ScoobyGhost ? his mates got a blobeye might have one on but think he was selling it as a job lot. But to be fair the center and back box is much easier to sell.

thanks gambit - I havent I will happily dm though and find out. Always wanted to go decat but never been brave enough to give it a go. Good mate of mine (mechanic) offered to do the job with me so can't wait to source one

Bad news I'm afraid. The decat went to the scrap yard this morning along with the rest of the car.

He kept the centre/rear box though. Told him if he has any other bits I'd gladly store them for him.

To be fair they're the easist sections to sell so can understand it but to scrap the car with so much left is gutting :( 

It is indeed. Gearbox, diff, shafts, hubs, suspension all doors and rear panels. When I went to get your bits it was a sorry sight. that's for sure. Heart breaking

 that's my fathers luck all over - of all the things he had to pass down to my why oh why was it his luck...

Hiya, nope never been I'm in West Sussex so south east - if they make decent parts I can make any trip within reason. As I said this is last port of call in case used parts gets me nowhere. Hopefully someone knows someone in the next few weeks

Cobra sport in Sheffield is obviously closer but about 30 quid more than the Rev exhaust, depends if fuel & the extra 300 miles on the journey outweigh the savings, I've used them and the service & quality is spot on

I'm searching around custom places at the moment. If nothing turns up I think I will just make the journey

Yup checked them they're about 3 hours from me, someone else recommended them too

im hoping that something second hand comes up to be honest I'm checking with breakers, anyone know of good breakers I can ask?
