340 bhp remap

Hi was wondering if there is a

noticeable difference between the standard 300 bhp and a remap to 340 bhp cheers Johnny1

Most remaps will improve drivability and economy (off boost anyway...) as well as peak figures

As above, the first map the car has will make the biggest difference to how it drive imo. Response and driveability are massively improved as well as extra go.

 

Just beware of place promising figures higher than others and make sure its a proper custom map, not just a flashed on generic one

as above custom map - irrespective of peak power - will imporve the driveability of the car

Is there such a thing as just a 340 bhp map though? All the old performance packs included an exhaust mod too. And yes the difference is massive the boost comes in earlier and the main difference you feel is a lot more torque right through the rev range.
