cornish6544 Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Eurospec got back to me on the problem with the remap they reckon the the turbo has gone as the car is only producing 180 hp. cornish6544 Posted January 26, 2016 Author Share Posted January 26, 2016 The turbo reaches 0.7 bar which if I'm honest i don't understand but he said it should be reaching 1.2 or 1.3 so its failing to hold boost? Tidgy Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Failing to make boost then, failing to hold boost would mean it hit the 1.2 then dropped off rapidly (although it will drop off top end anyway, its just how quickly it does it) could well be the turbo in that case. Cdmh Posted January 27, 2016 Share Posted January 27, 2016 All i would say is your in safe hands with Eurospec , top guys and Ben there lives and breathes cars and performance , they have a vast array of cars they look after from race and drift cars to a whole host of jap performance motors , have used them in the past and even had Ben come over to diagnose a and help out with one of the GTO owners when he span a bearing at castle coombe even though he was on pit cover that day for one of their drift customers .
