mfnick Posted March 29, 2016 Share Posted March 29, 2016 So, just started noticing a strange noise as ive been driving around more and without radio on. Tried to capture it best I could in that video. Its that strange noise that almost sounds like a cricket or something... Its loudest in 4th and 5th but can be heard very faintly in all gears at low, cruising, revs. Makes it when coasting and when letting off accelerator too. Anyone heard this before and/or have any ideas what it is? Im not going to be able to get to garage until Saturday at earliest and even then not sure if he'll have time to check it properly and its playing on my mind. Could it be a heatshield???
