Featured Replies

Hi does anybody know what SBF 13 in the engine compartment fuse box controls.

Does it not say on the underside of the fuse box lid ?

Can you snap a pic as I'm having trouble thinking which one it is

On the underside it says SBF 13. It's a 50 amp fuse.

On my 94 impreza there's only a few 50 amp fuses .the only 2 I can think of at the moment are ....

The "fusible link" which is basically a 50 amp wire with a spade connection on either end .This is the fuse for the starter motor .

And the other is for the charging system .

Hopefully one of the leggy boys will know .

If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

Is it not covered in the manual? With that size you are looking at something that draws a fair bit of current. If it was me I would pull it then try starting the car

Did you ever find out what this fuse was for?

In Subaru Diesel engines "sbf13" 50A fuse controls glowe plugs. Any short circut problem, mostly one of glowe plugs malfunction burn this fuse.

Solution: glowe plugs check and change
