Hi, just bought myself a impreza wrx wagon bugeye 2001 and the engine management light came on so I got it tested and it was the camshaft sensor so replaced and a few days later the engine management light came again and it's the same problem. The car seems to run fine with no problem. If someone could help me I would appreciate it :)

silly question, did you have the error codes reset as it will still show

Have you had it checked again?

Yeah they said it was the same thing but they didn't have time to take a thorough look at why

My last post on piggys "vvt help " thread might be worth looking at, its about a earthing issue on the left bank head which gives a cam sensor fault [emoji6]

If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

Did they replace the right sensor had this on a peugeot and dealer kept messing about and it needed both replacing for each camshafts...
