When i rev high just before i get in the red the check engine light will come on then go off straight away when i change up it will happen in any gear. Only really noticed it happen since the remap just wandering if this is normal as its straining the engine or should this be looked at?

You can do a code check using the two black connectors under the dash. Once you have your error code you'll know what the problem is.

What ecu & sfotware did you end up getting, some programmes will flash the cel light as a knock warning light, although if its doing it at every gear change may be something else
