September 5, 20169 yr so with the 2 litre 2000-2007 engine, turbod, what is needed to boost it to around 300bhp? or what is a decent level to boost it to? My beemer was 300bhp and 720nm, it was fast ish but I am wanting the scoob to be similar if possible I am thinking an STI intercooler, Decat, 255lph fuel pump, manual boost gauge or avcr, uprated iridium plugs and a remap? Am I missing something? whats a standard clutch good for? Also are there any other decent big brake kits cheaper then the K sport 8 pots? Once I have my scoob I will start a build thread etc, and look to become a paid member cheers!
September 5, 20169 yr Sti turbo vf34i think it is sti pink injectors and uprated fuel pump sould be good for 330bhp with remap i have heard people say.you could go for some sti brembos second hand would be cheaper then the k-sports. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

September 5, 20169 yr Hmm could not say as i have not had either.but am looking out for some brembos for my 08 hatch thats 320bhp.you sould be able to get front and back for less then cost of the k-sport.brembos sould be fine for 330 with some good pads and disks.sure someone with experiance with them can tell you more. September 6, 20169 yr Don't worry about a manual boost controller, depending on what software is used to map the car, they can have switchable maps. Standard clutch will be OK up to around 320-350 if more or you like to launch it I'd go exedy 'pink' box Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
September 6, 20169 yr Author really appreciate the replys guys, so the standard turbo defiantly wont do the job? I saw one turbo offof a 65k impreza on the bay for 450 ish, theres loads of cheap ones but unless people have tried and tested I will stay away as there normally !Removed!!

September 6, 20169 yr STI turbo is a VF35. Your turbo will be your limit, as far as turbo's stay clear of ebay one's. Brakes i wouldn't bother with K sport, well known issues with dust seals. Decent set of D2's or similar will be same price and has proper dust seals. Or if you want the best a set of AP 4 or 6 pots are as good as it gets.
September 6, 20169 yr Author well brakes are sorted going for http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/package-deals-/169-front-and-rear-grooved-discs-and-kevlar-sport-pads.html plus there replica subaru calipers, exactly the same with warranty tried and tested, 395 all in for fronts and rears! ( rears is using old calipers)
September 6, 20169 yr The calipers are the same as yours arn't they so a bit of a pointless swap like for like? Could do with putting on braided lines as well
September 6, 20169 yr I was lucky enough to find these with nearly new discs and pads for £350 [emoji41] Admittedly They normally go for about £450 second hand If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊
