November 20, 20169 yr My father in law is looking at buying a old school mini , we've found 1 but would like to check a few things b4 handing over any hard earnt. Can anyone recommend a free or cheap car checker site ?

November 20, 20169 yr Author I've downloaded and uninstalled 4 apps and most are saying it's not a valid reg but it's been sitting at least 5 yrs so might not be on a recent database. I have had 1 site say it is a green mini but I want a bit more info , due to him saying he's lost the keys and logbook [emoji15] I'll pm you the reg just in case your app works [emoji6]
January 2, 20179 yr Hi SB, I've used checkthecar.com for additional information in regards to Mot's, etc - its basic but worth a gander.
January 6, 20179 yr Yoyoyo savs, when I got my Subaru no reg checker was working and I couldn't pull MOT up, I used a site which I need to look up in my email, PM me the reg of the mini and I'll run it through.
January 6, 20179 yr Author Cheers for the replies, he found the paperwork ( log book in his name ect) . So the farther in law bought the 1992 mini for £500 [emoji41] It's a rare ish classic edition old style (not clubman) 1275 cc carbed engine ,full sliding roof and leather trim . Completely original and only missing a few minor bits ..... like the floor lol . But they go for up to 8k when mint , guess I'll be dusting off my old welding tools soon [emoji4]
