June 15, 20187 yr Hey guys, Just joined the forums. Been wanting an Impreza WRX/STI for the best part of 16 years. Finally I bought one after looking to replace a L200. Got a good looking 2006 silver hawkeye with 67k miles on the clock that seems to run perfectly (though never even been in a Subaru before this one)

It's all stock at the minute so not much of a bubble. Gonna have to really work on the other hand to let me get even just a backbox, thinking about a milltek as they're supposed to be pretty conservative (volume wise).

A little too quiet for my liking but the other half doesn't like loud exhausts. So probably not gonna get the opportunity to upgrade. Still love it though. Really nice cars to drive.

I took it to get some Bridgestone potenza s001 tyres today, only 2 for the front. Still need to get a couple for the back. While it was in I looked at the exhaust and it's rusty from behind the back box to the front. I don't know if I'm gonna have to buy a new cat, but the exhaust is gonna need replacing before it's MOT in January. Hopefully the cat is ok for the time being while I figure out what needs doing to it.
