thanks . I have a impreza sports 2000 im gessing its what is know as a classic on here .not at the moment first ill like to drive enjoy and get use to working on it  but may find some ideas on here

Yup that will be a classic - as it is a sports model assuming no turbo so look at removing weight and improving chassis

Welcome along! Would love to see some pictures 🙂

I had a classic Sport Special (cashmere yellow) and loved it! i think the non-turbo cars are really under-rated. A great go anywhere car and one you can jump in and enjoy.

sorry I cant post pictures atm as im without a camra but will post on here when can .I agree seems like a great motor and if it was turbo I wouldn't have my license long .do you know where to get parts for them from things for maintaining  and repair than upgrade any help will be appreciated sorry its not on a separate post but through ill ask here before clogging up the forum

Nice to hear someone wanting to learn about their car, maintain etc before modifying 🙂 i did the same. Main one i missed when i gave mine its service was fuel filter. It may not be essential but i think (in my case at least) it was worth doing.
