ozzyboy
Got the paint above the exhaust melting and generally unsightly. Whats the best way to prevent this
mattiekane
Bent the exhaust brackets down so you have a bigger air gapLoud pipes save lives
savage bulldogs
Can't say I've seen exhaust gases melting paint before tbh , has the car been mapped with pops n bangs or does it have anti lag ? If so it's probably due to flames rather than gases , if not It must be running really rich to have a high enough petrol content to degrade the paintwork.. Think you can buy exhaust shields , normally made from carbon fiber or stainless steel

mattiekane
I'd say it was the lack of space between the exhaust and the bumper myselfLoud pipes save lives
